Part 3 of our May/June stay in Volterra, Tuscany, Italy - 4 towns visited!

What happened was we were heading out to a supermarket to do some food shopping, but got caught in a shower. In the end, we canned the shopping idea, and I checked weather sites and apps to see how bad the weather would be (it was going to be bad), and where it would be less bad. I saw sustained gaps in to the south and west in and around the Val di Cornia... so off we went. We flash-visted four towns and really enjoyed our day out!

All gorgeous places… plus I learned that they are in Val di Cornia, not Val di Cecina lol!
