Great to see you experiencing all the fumbles that we mere mortals do. Keep being honest and showing us that you too can get it wrong occasionally. Showing that you’re human too can never be a failure. I’m hooked, keep it up.
Exactly what i was looking for when I searched for it. Well done on the video. Now I only need to find a small enough torx to undo the screx in the handle so I can fix my knife :P
Good demonstration. I have a Kershaw knife where the spring doesn't really "expell" the blade anymore, so I was going to take it apart to see what I can do to fix it. I figured there was some sort of wound up torsion-type spring, but now I know what to expect inside. Good point about opening the blade prior to disassembly.
You are one the best companies I know, because you focus on one thing to sell, and you do it extremely well. Like, for example, the first time I saw a lot of knives was from Grindworx.Very reliable knives as well. I’ve been using a 3.5 inch balisong for about a year or two, and it still functions great. I’m trying to get the 2.75 stilleto but it keeps going out of stock.
Thanks for the video... That's the exact knife I have! Can you please tell me what type and size driver I need to change the pocket clip position? Thanks in advance if you're able...
Thanks for the help I busted my knife open on accident and was to worried I'd hurt myself to do anything about it so I just put it away. I think I can probably fix it now.
Thanx Holly!!...ah, so the disassembly secret is to open the blade first!!...ill admit, ive ruined a couple of asst open knives (they had issues), and i think the OTF mechanics are much easier to deal with. BUT NOW IM MORE CONFIDENT!!...Girls with knives are the best!!...thanks Grindies...
@@gcarmen4490 so...quick deployment? I mean, any folder is going to be easier to conceal (and carry), but...if you want to flick open a well-made manual folder, it's still plenty quick. I just got (few months ago) a kershaw random leek....GREAT edc, Sandvik steel, good blade shape 3" 3oz. And I partly got it to try the assist. It IS neat...but having that spring in the pocket...even with the excellent safety...I just don't see that much advantage to flicking it vs. say...a manual with flipper tab and ball bearings...any other reason that I'm not seeing?

That's a unique mechanism, good job of showing the workings. GREAT VIDEO Thanks William Orange county, ca.
That deserves two thumbs up.
Great - you did it! Thanks for the informative vid on spring assisted knives and how they work!

Thank you, Huge help with replacing my broken spring.😊
Is ball bearing assisted knife same as spring assisted knife?
No they’re just really smooth opening
What tools do I use? What’s the name of

Thanks, I always wondered how these worked!
What if I just removed the spring. And just use the knife without it.
I actually enjoyed this candid take apart. Don’t worry. A coupe of more disassemblies and you’ll be good to go.
It locks over center. Spring holds open and closed.
Excellent -- thank you

Where could someone just the locking mechanism? Have a project I’m working on and I think that’d be what I need for it
Now the hard part is making my own
Why choose assisted? Any good practical reasons?
Easier to conceal than a fixed blade with the benefit of a quick deployment.

Excellent - Good
I have that same Kershaw!
One of my cheaper Kershaw's I have out of 200 some knives.
My edc go to for over 7 years
My assisted knife broke and I now need to fix it
Do a tac fore
Will I risk having it come open in my pocket?
Once that spring breaks your done for. Good luck finding a spring just like it.
On the website y’all’s stilletos are out of stock.
Your voice is so lovely... Idk anymore if I watch those vids for the knifes or for you.
*I liked the video, but missed having you explain your mistakes, and remedies, detailing proficient disassembly, and reassembly.*
it's compression not tension
That's why those knives are so expensive. Only 14 people on Earth who can assemble them quickly. Now 15.
Lol - Holly
Puns 🥤 i like it
Refreshing to see women interested in things that traditionally more men are into!
Can't stand a women talking about knives.😂 they talk about something they never use."had to get some back up to disassemble" that's says everything
You'll should really do give aways
0:50 Pun intended, I think...

I wish she would keep her hands still so it's easier to see everything. Girl is too fidgety.

Unfortunately made in China .
My knife isn’t working properly and I can’t get it apart I think there a piece that snapped while it was in my pocket
