Idk man original tanks are always difficult when it comes to chopping atleast for me. I like those original narrow ones aswell, but when I run those i tend not to mess too much with the bike bc I think harley had it just right back then. If anything i would try to complement the oem look by making it apear older than it actually is.
Personally I would put in 12" shocks in the rear to lower it a bit, also i like the closed ones better than those with open springs.
I would get it to overall look ''darker'' by changing out the crome parts with polished ones or maybe even a few black ones
I would also take of the hinged part of the rear fender and remove the chain guard
The most important part for me would be one of those wide solo seats that attach to the tank mount and the down tube (those are so nice especially on a dou glide you feel like riding on a cloud), beacause that one, that is currently on there, kinda ruins the line of the frame for me and maybe attach 2 bullet lights on that seat as tail lights
The front fender i would eather chop or put a trailor fender there and while we're at wheels I would go 18 18 front and rear. That would make it look even older and more classic HD
The last thing would be one of those hill climbing handle bars, those that kinda look kinda like an 'M' or maybe hollywood bars?
As I said this would pronounce what it is now even more, show that beatiful 58-64 frame and get you a nice line starting high at the front and dropping as you look more twards the back (which is not easy to achieve with oem tanks)
I really like chopping old bikes, but since I discovered wheels through time and all the stuff matt does, I kinda became a 40s- 50s hot rodder and I think this bike has its biggest potential in doing just that to again really highlight those beatiful tanks and frame.

Wouldn’t want to change anything butt if you did I’d keep it basic with a nice King and Queen seat as to keep it nice and comfy for lotsa riding. Because if that was mine I’d be wanting to ride it all of the time. Super nice bike dude…
