- I love my Precision Tip Glue Bottles! I've really found it much easier to add Multipurpose Liquid Glue to those intricate, detailed, and tiny pieces in my paper crafting projects now that I have some of that glue in these bottles.
Many of you have purchased these bottles using the link in My Favorite Extras: stampyourartou...
I'm glad you are also enjoying the ease these bottles provide in paper crafting! But occasionally I get the question..."How do you add the glue without it getting all over?" So I made this short tips video that I hope you will find useful.

Another tip I use. Buy a heavy based Shot glass at the thrift store. Fold a small 1-2" piece of a paper towel three times. Wet the paper towel, squeeze the water out and place it in the bottom of the shot glass. This way I've been able to place the inverted tip down into the glass and it's always ready to use when I need it during my craft session. Close when done. I've never had a clog or have to wait for the glue to come down to the tip.
Love this tip! Thanks Linda!
No matter how long we have been crafting, there is alway something we can learn to make it better or easier. Thanxs
(Zana) Rachel, just refilled my glue bottle yesterday. On addition to your tips, I also apply a squeeze to get the excess air out of my glue bottle. Then, as I am pouring in the new glue, I gently release the squeezing pressure as the glue flows into the bottle. That can eliminate glue catching on the sides as it goes in because it's receiving air to help suction the glue in!
I just turned over the ring on my glue bottle cap! Love this tip! Thanks!❤️
Hi Rachelle. Thank you for sharing those glue bottle tips with your cyber fans. Might I suggest that to keep the little cap out-of-the-way on your small glue bottle is to secure it with a rubber band around the bottle. I have to say that is not my original idea, but I did see somebody else do that.
Mine doesn't get in the way with it reversed. So I don't have to take the time to rubber band it or even hold it anymore. But thank you for sharing for those that still have an issue with it.
I’ll be flipping over the cap on my bottle, and using the shot glass tip as well. Thank you!
Now I know why people love the glue bottle. Great tips!!
Thanks for the tip!
Appreciate the tips. I immediately reversed the direction of the cap and it’s quite effective. I really didn’t want to try putting a rubber band around the bottle as it would have been a hassle. This works great!
Me too! I didn't like the idea of securing it with a rubber band either.
Great tips! I recently purchased some fine tip glue bottles & was thinking on how to put the glue into them. Thanks
Thanks for the great tip. I have a rubber band on mine but it’s a pain so I’m trying your tip.
Thanks for the tips. When I purchased those small they came with a small funnel.
I love my precision tip glue bottle! Thank you for the tips!
Great video. I was wondering how these glue bottles do with thicker glue like Aleene's Tacky Glue?
Thank you so much for the great tips❤️
Thank you so much. I have tried to fill these bottles but have had a lot of problems so I quit using them. I am going to get them out now and try again using your helpful tips.
Oh, I hope it works for you. It's really just keeping the glue from building up on the sides of the bottle that should do the trick.
These are great my friend! I haven’t used one yet but will in the future
Thank you for the glue bottle tips and for sharing your talent.
Thank you for your tips. I appreciate it. I also appreciate you for all that you do. God bless you.
Great reminder, Rachel! Thank you from SWFL 🌴
Thanks for those great tips@
Great tips.
I have a pin in the metal tip
It keeps it closed and prevents it from cloging .
Thanks Rachel
Thank you!

Thanks for this…. I get the bubbles and overflow a lot! I sometimes sew so I still have some long pins and keep some on my craft table to unclog my glue bottles. Didn’t you recommend the Victor ruler with all the precise measurements not too long ago? I found a metal one and plastic one…is the plastic one just as good? Love all your videos!
Awesome tips!❤
The best tip I have ever sun for filling these mini glue bottles is to use a plastic syringe, suck up the glue, squirt it down in the bottle boom bang you’re done! I used a 3cc syringe with a leur slip tip and it worked great! I then went on Amazon and ordered 10 cc or 10 ML leur slip tip syringes. They are perfect for filling these little bottles! Make sure that you do not buy the syringes that have a twist leur lock tip. They will not work. Look for leur slip tip syringes!
Thanks for sharing ❤️
Rachel, thanks for the Tip! I just filled my precision tip bottle with the Tombow Mono glue. It's a bit thick and takes it's time flowing to the tip of the refilled bottle. Do you store your filled precision tip bottle upside down? (I worry that the tip may clog) I do store my original Tombow mono bottle upside down, but that tip is larger.
It can help to store it upside down :)
I started using these little bottles to try to capture all the glue still in the TomBow even when it feels empty ... there is quite a bit still in there. Once the glue is in, they work really well. One trick I saw was to slightly squeeze the bottle s you start to fill it and when that bubble happens or even as you are filling, release and the glue is pulled into the bottle. However, my question is, has anyone found and easy way to use or clean out ll that glue still in the TomBow?
Hello, where do you buy the bottles from, I’m in Australia- thanks Linda
I'm not sure if the Amazon link I have in my website will lead you to the same product. You may have to do a search.
