    If superheroes are "American Mythology", than this is the equivalent of interviewing Homer

    I owe my life to these 2, the very essence of who I am is based on their brains. I lost my dad when i was 10 months old and i had stage 4 cancer 3 years afterwards. Grew up watching the 1941 cartoons and justice league cartoons and Christopher reeves version. soon i moved to comics. My admiration for this character will never be denied this character is one of the only reasons I'm alive today, and I wish to make good, genuine heartwarming superhero movies because of them

      This is shameful. Live for yourself, not some cartoon created by some Jews.

      @@yeshuadot630 Neal Adams and Jerry Robinson were instrumental in making sure that Siegel and Shuster would receive $30.000 a year and continuing payments to their families when both men died, as well as restoring the ‘Created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster’ byline in every Superman publication.
      This helped a Hell of a lot with their debts at that time and Joe Shuster was even quoted in the New York Times of December 1975 as saying “Now we can start living again.”
      As opposed to being in the state both men had been in prior to the settlement.

    Recently, creator of Dragon Ball Akira Toriyama passed away. Despite all the versus stuff, story debate, ideologies and so on, both franchises still influenced many generations for years. I can't help but respect what these men have done for us and the creations they made.
    RIP Mr. Shuster, Mr. Siegal, and Mr. Toriyama. For teaching us optimism, hope, determination, discipline, and what it means to truly be strong.

    Everything I am. Everything I will become. Everything I aspire to be in this life. My birth. My childhood. My heart and soul is all because of Superman. It’s all because of these two amazing men right here who have given me everything great in life with their creation. They have inspired millions no billions of people around the world. Because of their greatness and their love for Superman, they have given us something so important and iconic in so many of our lives. Thank you Joe & Jerry. You guys are Supermen in your own right. ❤

    It wasn't right the way DC treated them. In the end through Superman they secured their place in history, and thanks to Superman their legacy lives on

    Notice how complimentary they both are. “Joe, and I…” , “then you added those…” , “together we created that.” Very rare and a true display of chivalry.

    To be honest I don't blame them for agreeing to the original deal, at the time they didn't know they'd created an icon and a new American Mythology. If I was in their place in 1938 and someone was offering 130 dollars (a lot of money during the Depression) and a steady paying gig in exchange for the rights to a character that had been rejected countless times I'd likely have done the same thing Jerry and Joe did.

    The creator said in this vid..That they wanted Superman to wear a skin tight costume to show of his muscular physique ..Andhe was based on Hercules and all the strong men of old ...
    So Henry Cavill's bulky Superman fits what the creators wanted. Not the slender athletic type David is.

    • @DeeAreCee
      @DeeAreCee 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Christopher Reeve was slender before David Prowse put him on a workout regime for Dick Donner's Superman 1 and 2, and Siegel and Shuster both thanked Donner for the movie and were impressed with Reeve. Corenswet is very much built like Reeve was in 1976-1977 when he won the role.
      Also ... do you think Henry Cavill was born muscular or something? The dude had to bulk up for the role as well. Your comment was ... very stupid.
