one of the only bands I know to keep up their style for this long This feels like a modern day Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) from Green Day. Can't believe this came out two years ago, seriously sounds like this has been a classic for many years.
@Matt Wretched Hey, brother, I know how you feel. That was the thing that first drew me to this band, realizing, "I'm not the only one who feels like this," it didn't matter who you were. Or as Rolling Stone (not my favorite magazine) once said in a rare moment, "Heartbreak never sounded so good." : )
You know, I've been listening to this band since I was a kid, and I feel like they're the perfect discography to life. Started out young and angry, focused on self improvement, and now looking back and realizing / reciprocating mistakes from the past and overall moving forward. I can speak volumes about how much this band means. And I really enjoy how they can change up their style as well as have a style that is recognizable. I cant wait to see them for the 7th time once this whole thing blows over.
This song reminds me of my friend Josh who passed away 2 years ago. We grew up skipping school "Starting up fires, throwing bottles at trains, pissing on convenience store walls" and going to Punk shows together. RIP Josh Korpi❤💀

Feel like this is the sequel to If We Never Go Inside. Tbh, feel like most of Dan's songs do that for me. He hit something when he made that song. Made my friends and I feel that way. He's been hitting that over and over since. Three coffins where never more full.
Dan is amazing in concert. Was so lucky to see him do an acoustic set in a small bar...such a good memory. Also saw him in crazy basement venue in Philly.
I love this band. Been with them since days I was trying to understand exactly what they were about. The moment I flipped my Good Mourning record over and heard If We Never Go Inside for the first time, I would always look at Dan differently. Realizing he’s always been the heart and soul of the band... Idk, but everything he makes is true to me. Kind of epitomizes the band as a complete effort in my eyes...
I remember going with my cousin to see some emo band in SF, I forget who. But I come out of the bathroom after getting my wrist stamp to enter the venue. I heard Dan playing one of his solo project songs and was like “ cool cut to play during the build up period “ before the show. Low and behold, HE’S ON STAGE. I’ll always remember that 😅
This couldn't have come at a better time. I just got done with a coughing fit. Isolating for a while. I feel better now I guess you could say it "changed my liiiiiiiiiiiife."
Dan is Alkaline Trio now. Without him people would just start calling it "that new blink182 guys side project". Also I think Dan might be a god among men
Dan has one of the coolest voices of all time!
Michael C Even if it's basically Barney the Dinosaur.

Yes.
Sounds like good ole Alkaline Trio! Very satisfying
I mean, it sounds like Emergency Room which is great, but i have no clue what other era of the Trio you could possibly be referring to.

One of my more recent favorite Dan songs. What a fucking songwriter! Killer story teller.

I’ve always admired them for their live shows. They always play exactly what you wanna hear somehow. New album, old album. Trio always helps you feel🙂

I feel bad for rooting for Tom now. It's like wanting to get Scott Raynor to come back. It's ridiculous. Matt Skiba is incredible.
You know this is a Dan song right?
Startung sounds like Green Day!
Welcome back, Skibba, please leave Blink now.
i love how great this band still sound, in my opinion this is where matt belongs, i really dont care to much for the new over produced blink sound

Dan at least wrote (if not plays) guitar here too. I heard him play this at a solo show years ago.
