Gimme that little Evie and the doll with her! Just as cute as can be --both of them. Sharon, you're the doll hair Anne Sullivan--another miracle worker. Fabulpus job on the dress Chantae! Love it so much! When I saw you guys had a new video out it was like a gift. On a day that I really needed my spirits boosted, there it was. Thank you so much for making it.
We are both so happy you enjoyed it. It means a lot that video’s are helpful and enjoyed. I don’t know that I am a miracle worker, that kind of you to say, I did want to quit more than once but I just couldn’t give up on her. Chantae is getting better at her sewing ability, which is fine with me it is definitely not my favorite part of the restoration process.🥰
Thank you so much, this one was definitely one the biggest challenges to date. I think we have figured out something that will help the hair even more, and I am going to a short on it soon.🥰
Hello! This was a great video! The work you did on the hair is real magic, I could never have that much patience!! I usually try to comment on your videos but missed this one for a while because TH-cam took down my channel for fraud for some reason when I did nothing to commit fraud, so I had to set up a new channel and subscribe to a bunch of people again, you included of course! I try my best to support you since this channel is definitely one of my favorites!
I’m so sorry that happened to you. and you might never know what happened or why. I have heard that this has happened before to others but i wish I could give you encouragement but I don’t understand either. my best advise is to follow the TH-cam rules to the best of you ability now. Because they will be watching very closely. you might have done nothing wrong but it’s best to start over because it would be really hard to find out what went wrong. We are so happy to have you as one of our biggest supporters and we hope we never lose touch with you. we always look forward to your posts!❤️
yes you are probably right your past posts might be gone. but the ones you sent us we will always remember. Hang in there it won’t belong and it will get better and then it will be just something confusing that happened in your past and many good and positive things will be there instead.👍❤️🥰😉😘
You have worked hard on her.The Saran hair always went frizzy and matted on the end.No matter how loving and caring you were with your doll. When I was about 7 I lived in HongKong,Dad was in the Royal Navy. I was brought a pretty doll about 30 inches tall with light brown, blond long hair. That was sedan I believe and the ends were always hard to keep tidy.I used to wet her hair and put it in curlers to keep her nice.Mine were always beautifully dressed and had hand knit outfits on them. There was not any dolls this big in the U.K. so Mum knit everything. The other doll had very tight curls but were short and fixed more or less solid in place. These dolls always sat on the side in my bedroom.Just before we emigrated to NZ I gave them to my cousins at my Mums suggestion. We did not leave for a month so lived at my Grans.I used to go to my Aunts and was horrified to find them stripped and in a messy toy box.Not loved like they were by me.I came back home at 22 with my Daughter.I wish I had kept them for her.The long haired one was my favourite one and she had a face similar to this.Just brought back the memories.Great job girls as always and your little superstar certainly like being on camera lol!🥰
You have lived in some very interesting places! We have lived in a couple of different states in the US but never abroad. I am so sorry about your dolls. I am sure your mum put a lot of love into the outfits she knit for them. I did not have many dolls as a child, my tiny tears was destroyed when my mom took it to be repaired and instead of repairing it they replaced her head. It wasn’t my doll anymore. My daughter looked for one like it for many years and found me one for my birthday. I love the love the doll but I mostly appreciate the love my daughter put into finding her to make me happy. Perhaps you will come across a doll like the ones you lost someday.🥰 Yes, Evie does like to be included in the videos, but she really just wants to be wherever Chantae is, that is her happy place.❤️
Goodness, I can't believe you got her hair fixed! That was a huge job! She looks cute as Pippi Longstocking. Great job, both of you. You had a lot of work on your hands this time. I remember watching that movie when I was a little kid. She is my vintage. :) I had a doll called Baby Tenderlove that my grandma gave me back then with that same kind of body, but she was made by Mattel and was from about 1969. I see a couple of Horsman dolls similar to yours on Etsy and Pinterest but not an exact one. It looks like they made similar ones in different sizes and in the same size. I'll keep an eye out for one like yours.
It was a challenge to say the least. Yes, we both think she makes a great Pippi. This video was more challenging not just because of the doll but we had so many technical difficulties we were not sure if it would ever get posted. Hopefully the next one will not be as difficult. Chantae remembered the movie too, but it must have been on tv as it pre dates her. Thank you so much for keeping an eye out for a similar doll, we would love to know who she really is. 🥰
@@DIYDollArtist, I'm sorry this one was so challenging in so many ways. But you did it! That is pretty amazing. I believe I saw the movie on TV as well. Sooner or later, someone will likely post one like her online. With some luck, that person will know who she is!
Well I think that the fiber it is made out of is not the best, but also I think that she was probably played with a lot and probably not very carefully. Thank you so much, it means a lot that you enjoyed it. Yes, we absolutely love our little photobomer. We did not expect her to do that but she is very good at getting attention in the most quiet ways. She brightens every day.🥰
Amazing job! LOVE her Pippi dress!!! The hand embroidery sends it to another level. Congrats on another great video and restoration! ❤
Thank you so much! Chantae has been hand embroidering for years so she put her ability to use and it did came out nice. So happy you enjoyed it.🥰

I vote for fabric #2
Thank you.your choice of group 2 is noted🥰

Also I’m pretty sure that all comments I left on past videos are gone now, this really annoys me. Oh well.

🙋♀️❤️ I wonder. How did the hair get do damaged? Or was it always coarse ? Oh, she's so cute! Great job!
LOL! LOVE THE PHOTOBOMBER!🐕
