Ha ha ha ha I have never had my dog beg me to stop the noise coming from my phone and I have been watching since the beginning. She had a higher pitch than any other baby I think. 🤣
It's time, and more, to wean Rey, but it hurts the heart to see the sadness on their faces and in their eyes when they realize the milk bar is finally closed. Go play with your friends and forget about it.
Hi Brittany! I'm from Billings Montana but I'm moving to Absarokee Montana next month. It's in the mountains. I love monkey hill family and the monkeys 🐒 🙈
Researchers have said as moms get older they ease up slowly but surely on weaning and it's quite common for them to start delaying it. They believe just like us, we have an internal clock that tells us we won't have many more babies so we better enjoy them while they're little.
I feel bad for the moms and babies, weening seems like the worst. Dimpy hasn't had the easiest time of being a mother, with the stress and later tragedy of losing Riy. Little Rey might have been easier to handle than her lamented older sister, but sometimes I think Dimpy overcompensates with Rey, maybe because of losing Riy so young but I think it's because she's still so new at it. Maybe next year she'll be less indulgent with her new offspring.
Careful, now. For some reason, that seems to be a contentious opinion on these channels. Less so with Arroz, and I try not to cause issues here, but say you side more with the moms than with the babies, and POOF: drama! I really think it's just a paternal/maternal-instict kind of thing, but for what it's worth, I also side with the moms far more often than not.
@Goldnfoxx As a Primatologist I can tell you as we share 93% of our DNA with Macaques, watching these amazing animals you can't help but get drawn in watching their behaviour and feeling that identity with us humans, their day to day lives are no less stressful than us humans, just think of the Christmas family gathering or a shopping day with the kids 😂 😊
I think is kauz Rey wasn't in top of her all the time.. Momma accepted the feeding when everr Rey wanted it. I dnt think it has to do w/ loosing a bby More like this lil one wasn't on her as it should off. Then went she wasn't supposed to be , she is... funny cute but too big.. time already to stop old enough to feed itself..
I don't have a problem if they can nurse a little longer. Mom knows best. Gaby has tendencies to do so with all her kids. I haven't noticed any that nurse to an exceed a ridiculous age. If the milk is there why not. Ive seen a couple of humans that do nursing till 5yrs, now that exceedingly crazy
My grandma was a midwife and wet nurse and she nursed my Dad until he was around 6 years old so she could keep her milk in case a newborn needed her to nurse it. He remembers coming home from school one day and throwing a fit because a baby was taking “his milk”. Grandma told him he was done, no more Ma milk for him. 😂
Back when her grandmother was a wet nurse it was normal. Family members, etc even nursed other babies while the mom did chores, etc. It's only in today's society that something like that is considered gross or abnormal. .@@cavgrey8
@@cavgrey8 Well it depends when this took place. It was actually dangerous to feed babies milk extracted with a pump before the refrigerators were widely spread because of bacterias. In US I think the refrigerator became a widespread household item during 1940's and finding a pump wasn't always easy. Wet nurses was a necessity if they wanted their babies to survive. 🤓🇸🇪
😂 Dimpy has clearly had enough of Rey's nonsense and she's doing what needs to be done. That was quit a body slam, including a loud THUMP when Rey hit the pavement. If Rey hadn't gotten the message here, she soon would. I can remember Reddy doing similar things to Dopey when he wouldn't stop pestering for more time at the milk bar.
I wonder how the monkey mom feels when they lose a baby. We as humans can communicate in a way that is much better understood. They are different cuz they just get preg the next season and move on even though I know they felt a lot.
Weaning is not for the faint at heart. Being human mother breastfeeding was a delightful & loving time then you know when it's time to cut it off...that's not easy for some human babies ( especially when they have teeth coming in). However, it's time to move on yes we hear the cries , which may continue for a bit but it's all about bring up baby. I watch these Monkey's having babies, feeding & weaning, taking care other babies besides being pregnant again no wonder Mom's need time out.....its all stressful because they no concepts as we do. God Bless our children the most precious gift of all. Thank you for these video's I truly have enjoyed them. Cheers for Motherhood ❤🇺🇸🙏
As long as the baby is getting enough to eat on its 9:36 it should be OK to wean but if the little thing is getting enough to eat then the baby needs support from the mother
