    You are so smart for not moving into killer cactus apartments, me and the wife moved here last year which was a big mistake. He was told our rent was going to be around $2,200. We paid that for 2 months after moving in… than out of nowhere our rent started jumping up. We have 3 more months here and our rent is up to $2,600 now lol not to mention if you have more than 1 car your second car will be towed away due to limited parking spots lol
    I came across your video because we’re looking to move here from.

    I have never heard of resort fee's on a rental....that is bizarre to me. Just up the rent. Dumb.

      Great video. I live in San Diego and will be moving in a few months. Vegas is one of the places I'm looking at.

    Thank you! Do you have any suggestions on where to look for rentals in Vegas?

    How many square feet is the first apartment that you were looking at? Are all of the move in fees normal for the area and do you plan to stay for 12-15 months so you do not have an extra $300 a month fee? I would also think it would be important to carefully pick out where in the building your apartment is because of the view from the balcony.
    At first look these apartments seem expensive but rents are going up in lots of places around the country. If you plan on using a lot of the amenities then it may be worth it. You could spend lots of your days off at the pool, and not pay for a gym membership. Also, the bigger washer and dryer in the first apartment looks really nice.
    Since you work from home sometimes, figuring out how much light and how quiet the actual apartment would be probably is also important to you as well. If they are doing lots of construction in the area or putting in shops near the apartment complex, the noise may be irritating when working.
    Thanks for the fun video!

    Enjoyed the apartment videos! Why resort fees?!

    • @carolinelopez91

      To be honest all new construction apartments here in Las Vegas charge that which I believe is annoying because the rent could be decent but I feel they get away with the high resort fees, so after your in your looking at high rent. But apparently it’s common here in Vegas 😒

I would love to do 3-4 tours that Sat and Sun so still open to there. 1 or 2 bedroom no more than $2500…. If you have any suggestion, that would be appreciated. Keep up these great videos.

    The first place is very expensive. If you can afford to pay that much per month, you should be buying a house on a 30 year fixed mortgage. I on the other-hand am on disability because of a car accident. I get $2,700 per month. I could afford to live in a place like this but I would be house poor. Any ideas besides renting a gun and buying a bullet?

    • @nsanenthembrane

      What happened during the car accident and where did it occur?

    • @jroar123
      @jroar123 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@nsanenthembrane: It was a Sunday morning and there wasn't another car on the overpass or Durango in either direction.
      I was stopped just past the bridge's northbound lane waiting for the light to turn green. Out of nowhere, I was hit from behind.
      He was a guy who was out on parole and who had an outstanding arrest warrant. I thought I was okay but that wasn't the truth. The police finally showed up and got both of our driver's licences. When he ran his information, he pulled out his handcuffs, and in the back of the police car he went. I felt bad for the guy for some reason.
      The next morning I couldn't get out of bed. I tried my best but something was wrong. I didn't know it at the time but I had fractured L4 and L5. I went to a doctor and they did an MRI with contrast and discovered the fractures. The doctors wanted to operate. I got a second opinion and he said that there was too much of a risk and that the best thing was to let it heal on its own.
      I stayed off my feet for a few days and then tried to move around more. After a few weeks, the pain stayed. I now had "Adult Scoliosis" caused by the damage to my back. They also said that I might have something called "Arachnoiditis" which is a constant sharp pain in the lower back. It felt like I was being electrocuted. There was no way I could have handled 18 hours in the air. I couldn't get to work let alone actually do my job. So one stupid idiot not paying attention, slamming into my vehicle caused me to lose my good high paying overseas job, my wife left me,
      After a few months, I started taking overseas contracts but more like seminars. The guys who attended were there to fall asleep during my presentation and drive into Bahrain for a beer and a babe if you know what I mean. While there I threw my back out again while bend over. I thought I was going to die but I didn't. I had to endure the pain then and the entire flight back. At that point I wasn't able to work any more. I did a few online computer based training seminars but that was it. I was finished in the petrochemical industry.
      Sometimes life really kicks you in the lower back so to speak. It left me on disability and that is not much money compared to what I was earning. Still, they do give me around $2700 per month.

    How would you compared the Uncommons vs the Ariva and Elysian at the district?8

    • @carolinelopez91
      @carolinelopez91  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Uncommons is unlike anything else because it is an apartment within its own community of other businesses, like restaurants, hair salon, small businesses etc. Ariva and Elysian are more of the traditional apartments here in Vegas with resort style outdoor spaces like spas, pools, cabanas and tanning rooms. Elysian usually is known for higher resort/ amenities fees on top of your monthly rent. 🤗
