A part of building a car like that is testing it and finding out the weak points and strengthening it as you go factory Honda driveshafts are very good but they do also have their limits that car is an absolute animal and when you get the teething problems sorted out it will be the monster you've always wanted
There is a company called Insane (Driveshafts) they make some good ones
I got H-Gear myself but over 500HP at the drag strip might destroy them

It doesn't matter how strong they are, if you push through it with that kind of axel tramp/wheel hop you'll break 2000hp axels with 400hp. You either need to adjust the setup of the car so it doesnt do that, or be gentle and learn to drive around it.

That is savage! You can see the car wiggling under boost your really have to drive it. As for driveshafts you have to remember stock motors run very low torque, with a snail that size under the bonnet your probably running 4x the torque through those shafts, your reactions throughout good and bad were legendary 👍

You’re gonna need an AWD pro setting your suspension up, your coilovers will still be set up as if they were in a FWD car, the rear will be seeing loads it’s was never designed for
The standard way of setting up DC5 suspension will still apply. Adding torque to the rear tires doesn't change the roll centers and all the other bad designs put into that chassis. Lowering the front end is still bad because of the extreme angles the tie rods are put at, and the rear suspension is still useless, so you still run springs so stiff that the rear suspension becomes solid (it is common to see rear spring rates of 40kg/mm and higher on DC5 race cars).

When you launched it, that wasn't wheel spin but wheel hop. Launching my DC5 had the same issue, you should play around with the launch rev limiter settings to find your sweet spot.
Yeah and that killed it in my view. It's just too much of an on off shock repeated ten times a second.

Yes and no. Its nicer on the driveline sure but on 2step its set to allow you to drop the clutch and off you go. If tyres don't slip the next weakest link will.

👌 sick man, between the tyres, lsd, load transfer back and forth it's soo grippy. Shaft upgrade, bit more mapping on the launch control you'll dial it on 👌. When your drag racing it as well, you tend to dial in the wheel spin, so you do still spin a bit and don't suddenly load the drive train 👍.
