    Omg this is exactly what I needed. I've been seeing cute bow tote bags on pinterest and I've been wanting to make one, but didn't know where/how to start. I saw a tiktok of someone using your pattern and it brought me here! thank you for sharing your skill and a lovely free pattern with us. I can't wait to make this. The instructions are so clear and I feel very confident!

      @@SewingandtheCity I'm almost done! I'm procrastinating bc the last step is to hand sew the straps onto the body.. I used pre-quilted fabric for the body and it's way too thick to fit under my machine 😅 it looks cute so far but I kinda regret not choosing a thinner fabric!

    I just came across your channel, and I will be making this beautifully cool bag! Also. I have 4 singers, 3 221's black and white and also a 401 cabriolet legs cabinet Singer. You are a fresh face, to the Singer aficionados. Thank you for
    Your videos!

    Hi, I have printed and cut the pattern and I think it looks enormous and I wonder whether I have the right measures. Can you please tell me how wide and tall it is in centrimetres, both the bag and the straps?

      Hi! You should have 22 pages in total on US Letter or A4 and you will have the correct size 🙂

    Would a polyester poplin fabric work for this bag?

    • @SewingandtheCity
      @SewingandtheCity  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes! That would work great! 💜💜

    Heya! Thank you for your tutorials and pattern. I was wondering what the final size of the bag is. The size of my laptop is 9*12 in., and I am unsure if it can fit with the current size.

    What fabric did you use?

    • @SewingandtheCity
      @SewingandtheCity  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Any medium weight woven fabric works great - cotton poplin, chambray, linen are some of my favorites!

    Hey! I noticed in your pattern you don’t have any explicit dimensions for the pieces of fabric. Do you know the dimensions to cut? I don’t have access to a printer!

    Hi, is the pocket lining pattern suposed to be taller than the lining pattern? I printed it all in one go but the pocket lining just seems huge

    • @SewingandtheCity
      @SewingandtheCity  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It is! You fold it up to form the pocket. The folded edge becomes the bottom edge of the pocket 🙂
