Definitely considering to buy that homeLite trimmer new this summer or next summer, have a Stihl curved shaft gas trimmer but doesn’t run well and is getting old plus it’s heavy and low on power to operate, so I hope that this homeLite trimmer will power through my lawn to trim better than then my current trimmer. Have always had the curved shaft but I have a larger front and back lawn so the straight shaft should hopefully get the job done.
@ciha Enterprices What is the recommended length of the plastic string on each side ? I just bought one of these (with the angled shaft) and it will be my first time using it. I noticed that mine smoked a lot.
17 inches from one side to the other. Let it run for a little bit. It shouldn't smoke. There are multiple reason why it could smoke. Just depends on the color. You did mix the gas with oil correct?
I’ve had one and I DO NOT recommend you buy it. Ran good for a few weeks but ran like straight shit after it gets hot. From what I’ve heard, when the engine gets hot it can tend to lose compression. Making it nearly impossible to start. I counted about 30 primes and probably 100 pulls before it started after randomly shutting off
I just picked one up. Used it right away. Loved it! Huge improvement over my old one. Plenty of power. Motor sounds solid. Its a little on the heavy side but otherwise a great trimmer for the price. @@cihaenterprises743
What i like about these are that they are decently powerfull very light weight and the gear box is greaseable unlike mtd trimmers

It is definitely a nice and powerful weed whacker
Just because something is cheap doesn't mean it's not a great product
I have one and it's amazing. Good video!!!
Agreed
That's how you do it. Seems to be a good piece of machinery
I'll keep watch to see the reviews on this product
Do you know how to take the head off this trimmer to replace with brush cutter head? Or has Homelite removed this option?
I dig it! I'm sold!
Which one is better for residential? This or the law master no pull one?
Great video. Reviews on the product

@@cihaenterprises743 I bought it pre mixed (50:1) at lowest
@@cihaenterprises743 thank you for taking the time to answer the question
Nothing wrong with cheap equipment
Nice whacking

That's crazy!! I haven't had an issue with mine as of yet.
@@cihaenterprises743 keep it in the shade and you’ll be good. These engines are pretty sensitive to heat
And now they’re $200
Did you buy one? If so, do you like it?
