Hey everyone! I just want to clear up the confusion. Sabrina is home in Canada healthy and safe. We're dealing with some personal issues. Therefore for this Thailand series I (Luke) will be filming without Sabrina. Hope you understand and we didn't mean to concern any of you! Let me know what you think about this style of video and I can't wait to share with you all of what THAI food has to offer!!
Thank you Luke for clarifying, I am sure people didn't mean to get into too much of your private life. I have loved this style and I couldn't stop watching until the end, whereas sometimes with the two of you I find it quite repetitive. That's my personal opinion. 💗
Initially I was a bit sad but I think changes is for the best (for both of you), I noticed the "imminent ending" when there's "no more umami taste in the food tasting" back in Northern Pakistan🙂
Thailand is a beautiful country from the very top to the very bottom and in between. It’s easy to fall in love with the country every single time you go back, the food, the people, their culture and the beautiful landscapes. Enjoy doing the series !
All of the places that you've gone in this clip are my favorite spot , especially at Roti Massaman Curry and Mook Manee Seafood. As a Phuketian , I can say that you are the one who pick up the real place that the tourist should not be missed.
Hi Luke, loved watching you in Thailand, so envious. Husband and I travelled to Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and India many times to all those countries a couple of decades ago and loved it. Unfortunately we’re both in our 70’s now and don’t fly, we now just cruise, so your journey is sheer joy to watch particularly you eating in the local eateries, which is what we did. Thanks for posting all your travels.

The 1st two places served South Indian dishes. There were parotta, dosa and appam! Love how there's so much overlap of cuisine among the different countries of SE Asia

25:15 yes! You should try Pindang pegagan, sambal nanas & pacri nanas. Pindang pegagan is spicy-sour fish soup with pineapple & thai basil. You can eat it with rice and sambal nanas (pineapple chili sauce). You can find it in South Sumatra. Pacri nanas is pineapple curry from Borneo island.
4:24 Yes, it's pineapple and we use it to tenderize meat in massaman curry. Also, us southern thais add quite a bit more to our currys than the rest of the country a few of which are tumeric and shrimp paste.
I went to a place in Bangkok many years ago with a huge sign that said”if it swims, we have it”. I put fresh seafood in a shopping basket and the place has a restaurant will cook them for you and you decide how you want it done, get side salad and fried rice for accomplishes. Delicious.

That first Roti place has the best ever beef soup. It tastes like intensified tomyum soup, soooo good.
