    that's some clean roofing tar and gravel shoes get messed up shingling a roof takes years before that cement stops jumping at you getting all over and it wears your hammer head to a forty five degree angle wood took time to get the hang of flipping that 6 penny nail mud down tile never played it but mop dry in down for them but i do think standing seam wood be the best for sun will back out screws seamless gutters had to be the sweetest job down in florida most homes where one story that's it my rants done

    That is cool. I have a friend that has a MUCH SMALLER set up in an enclosed trailer that makes gutters. The metal comes in flat rolls like that and it comes out in the form of a gutter or downspout. It's cool that he can make every run as long as he wants them so there are fewer connections.

    When I think of a metal roof I think of a standing seam. no Fasteners exposed that to me is about a metal roof . My great grandfather house was done 80 yrs ago and still standing, it was a standing seam roof . There is no screws with rubber washers that go bad

    • @HollisFarmsMS
      @HollisFarmsMS  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, that is also a great system. The industry has improved fastener and washer design so it is a more affordable option to standing seam

      @@HollisFarmsMS fair enough I work for a roof and rack deck company and we mostly run 30' long sheets I noticed the length of the bed before the tooling and was curious if you could run partially into the tooling before cutting the sheet or if you had to cut it before it got into the tooling. Thanks for the response, nice machine!

    Had a black 26 ga roof put on my house about 5 years ago. Crazy how flimsy the stuff is before it is formed. Probably wouldn't do black again due to the pollen in our area, i have 60 pine trees in my yard but thats what the wife wanted and it was the best color for us.

    What is the shortest panel can you roll ? I'm only asking because the company I work for uses a lot of metal deck and we have a saw to cut it . The saw can be a bit finicky but it does the job once you get used to it . We cut deck and grating with it . When we don't get the material cut to size . I have been to Canam in NJ many times where they roll the deck . Anyway I will leave a link for the saw . We have had this for maybe 10 years now . Good Luck with the new venture .www.patmooneysaws.com/grating-panel-bandsaw-machines/
