- Meet a working dog and his trainer/owner on the job. Security Specialist Keith Gray and his dog Air are part of TSA's Explosives Patrol. Ari can 'sniff out' any bomb threats that people might be trying to smuggle into the area or onboard a plane. It's an important job, but the dog thinks it's just a lot of fun. Steve Sweitzer sees this duo in action at the airport.

Every level of k 9 handler is more difficult than the next level. But it is very good to continue to have a fun attitude. If you have a job you love than nothing is difficult. I’m in the highest level of k 9 training in the simulator. I was a guide dog for the blind worker. Sometimes dogs need to change handlers. As a guide dog puppy walker someone trained the puppies before passing them off to another handler. Everyone in CBPO is a team. Tom and I both care for our dog. It takes both of us in a family setting. She came so close to catching a bad guy with the us Marshall’s this last year. Digs can get bored so you do want to keep it fun. The wrong collar or out dated harness can be the only thing necessary fir your dogs changing health. They grow like children. One minute you have a puppy that fits in your hand the next a full grown dog. And it goes in stages. Service dogs on the highest level are not beagles. There’s a dog for every purpose. Tom is the disciplinarian for our dog.
Why you’re pulling the dog out of the smell he is working let him work
Yea that’s bad training, dog will expect to get paid without giving a final response. Dog will show change and then turn around expecting reward. Since it was never held accountable to give a final response.
You both have a fundamental misunderstanding of passenger screening canine training. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Why she pay the dog with out knowing if the smells it’s a good one
Seems like they told her who it was already so she wouldn’t look dumb in front of the tv crew. So she paid way ahead of time, cus most handlers fuck it when leadership/people watching.
