Thanks ma'am to show the real beauty of Bangladesh. There r so many foreign blogger come here to show the beauty of Bangladesh. But ur attempt is exceptional and always inspired others. Respect from Chittagong
I feel goosebumps while I see someone who is a foreigner and talking about our beautiful Country, Culture, and the typical Bangladeshi environment! Thanks❤
What a beautiful Bangladesh! What could be more? Especially loved this incredible saree shop, the very beautiful tea garden sunsets and the lovely wedding ceremony.
The way you get along with local poor Bangladeshi people shows how down to earth and good hearted person you really are! By the way, someday you can learn wearing saree by yourself. Seen your other video, you look so beautiful in saree 😊
Thanks Carrie ☺ You'd definitely have looked wonderful in a sari (or shari as it's pronounced over there) & I'm surprised that the gentlemen running the shop didn't learn the skills on how to wear one, although it may have looked odd from from a local cultural point of view! It's a shame you weren't able to stay longer at the wedding, but I'm sure someone else would be more than happy to have you as a special guest at theirs as they tend to be quite easy going & everyone is welcome, moreover at the rural events. Sreemangal is a beautiful part of the country & I hope you got a chance to visit the multi-layered tea shop! Have a truly beautiful week my dear 🤗
Just amazing...... I have spent almost half of my life in Bangladesh and the larger Half in the UK but i didn't experience many things that you have in a short period of time, there in Bangladesh.
❤ your videos. Thank you for showing the real Bangladeshi Culture and lifestyle. Lot of tourists usually don't go outside Dhaka city. Your video should be longer. Eager to get new video soon.
Wow Carrie it’s fascinating to see that you have stayed so long in Bangladesh and seeing every corner of the country. We haven’t been so lucky to do this in our whole lifetime, but thanks for showing our beautiful country to us in your eyes❤❤❤
My country house is Tangail. The woven sarees of our city are traditional clothes. 2/1 Buy and take the woven saree.People of our country love foreigners very much. They are very sincere about them🥰🥰🇧🇩
I appreciate your concern about Bangladesh and its culture, history and landscapes. I request to consider Mymensingh Division. I sincerely follow your blogs.
Point to be noted : Urban Bangladeshi weddings are VERY different. The bride and groom are seated together - with elaborate decor and a wide range of events . But this is quintessentially how Bengali rural weddings are hosted .
@@carriepatsalis just be glad you did not get the chance to see animals get slaughtered because Muslim village wedding must or some of them the villages weeding do by animals
Groom is happy, he is getting married 😅, he smiles 😊, but doesn’t want elders to see this, so he covers his face!! He also doesn’t want to show his smiling face to young who pulls his legs. 😂

Unfortunately no vows in these weddings. Just a simple religious rite performed under the supervision of an Imam ("I ACCEPT"). And that too separately. Then they are officially married. And only then will the bride and groom meet.
