Very cool footage, Christian. Due west of the basilica are the hallowed links, Erin Hills. These hills are technically the southernmost gouges of the Kettle Moraine area of Wisconsin.
Thank, Colin! This place has a pretty interesting history and I only added some of the highlights. I do think you need a little more winter in your life!
What a good video. The narration was great. It kept me watching the entire video. I like the summer time version better only because the greenery brings it alive. The interior of the church reminds me of the one my grandmother attended in Punxsutawney, PA. What drone did you use? Thanks for sharing.
Wow, David, what a compliment! What happens often, happened here. I was just going to fly the drone (Mavic Air in the first, Mini II in the second) and when I went to put the video together, I discovered the interesting history of the place. I googled churches in Punxsutawney and found Saint Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church which looks pretty close to this one. Thanks for watching (both!)
@@MainlightDrone I find myself googling Punx. churches. The Byzantine church you found is not it. She attended one that was larger and had columns on each side of the sanctuary with confessionals (If I recall correctly) . It's been a very long time since I was there. She passed years ago so I can't call her. I currently am using the Mavic Pro 1, Mavic Air 2, and the Phantom 3 Pro. The MA2 is the newest addition and the Polo Club is the first video I've done with it.
The signs weren't there yet when I was there over three years ago. Although only the FAA controls airspace, I would have respected the signs. In fact, I have been there since and chose not to fly after seeing the signs, out of respect.
@@MainlightDrone This has sparked my interest the last few years. I grew up catholic, but wasn't really practicing for years, but I want to return to it. I really wish they would eliminate the age requirement. You will find more middle age men pursuing this as a result.
Very beautiful! Thank you from Canada!🙏🏾❤️🇨🇦
You are very kind! Thank you for your visit, Anneliese. My mother spells her name Annelise. : )
Went there recently. It’s beautiful. Attended a Mass and it was beautiful as well.
Thanks! Was there snow when you went there? It's a beautiful place in all seasons. I'd love to go there at Christmas.
@@MainlightDrone , not much. It was 50° on the 29th! Sooo beautiful.
Beautiful
Thank you, Ann.
Wow worth to visit

Yes! We don't have that many old sites like in Europe. It's fun to learn the history, isn't it? Thanks for visiting!
Beautiful video god bless.
Thank you, Riona! God bless you and your family as well!
I'd say it was well thought and narrated vlog!! Nice drone shots, especially liked the view at 07:08!
This is one of my favorites, too. It's an early one but I think the sound, drone and handheld footage all came together ok. I'm down to 9 hours to go!

Thanks, Jim! I figure you've played every links from here to Timbuktu. : )
Watching this after watching the winter video :D

Great shots and beautiful places
Thank you, Ener! : )
Great informative video, keep up the good work
Thanks! I'll always remember this one as one of the videos at the height of the pandemic.

Odd to see drone footage over Holy Hill here. I was just there and there are tons of signs stating no drones

This video sparks my interest in the monastic life, but then I abandon it when I realize I am over the maximum age to enter this type of living.
I'm sure you can find a good way to serve God at any age! Thanks for visiting and leaving a nice comment!
