- Hi everyone! Last week I hit a few new thrift stores and a few old ones! Hongdae and Gangnam are sort of hot spots for thrift stores nowadays so I hope this is a good little intro :) I won't be posting a video this Wednesday because I'll be heading down to Busan (and vlogging it don't worry!) but we'll be back to our regular schedule on Sunday! You always show off different aspects of Seoul, like the bus terminal, and Seoul street scenes so well! I don't even care about thrifting or shopping in general, but this video was great! Also, the intro reminded me of those classic Scorsese movies like Goodfellas. Seoulfellas.

@@sprinklzz. I am a full time masters student at Seoul National University, so I have to be here to start school because it isn't online.
@@hanayannis1530 You can actually get in if you have a Visa and quarantine at an Airbnb. They give you food and PPE also. Without a visa you have to quarantine in a government facility first.
One of the things I'm looking forward to the most when I'm finality able to visit Korea is the vintage shopping!!!! This video made me so excited!!!

You got me hooked on TV girl, everytime I listen to them on my spare time I'm reminded of you. The white button down blouse is so beautiful, truly 90s silhouette with a 70s print. It's very beautiful.4:14 is basically my mantra, I recently bought this gorgeous long leather jacket for 1€, it was a steal and now I feel like a pirate. Finding beautiful thrifted clothes makes me so happy

@@caricakes it was!! everything was marked for 1€ that day and I ran with it, and bought some things that I will be flaunting. My favourite piece was this vintage 80s crimson jacket, the shoulder pads complete the business woman look. The embroided piece you bought is stunning, but somehow reminds me of Poland.( it's the colours)

Wow that embroidered shirt is to die for! 😍 If the stains are just on the white part, you can probably spot-bleach them out with a very gentle bleach solution or a Tide-pen sort of thing.

Thrifting is one of the best things to do here in the Philippines. Thrift shops are everywhere! You can get two tops for a dollar. A denim jacket would mostly be priced at 3-4 dollars. One good thing also is there isn’t any fixed price on the clothes so could also still ask for discounts especially if you are buying more than one item. The only problem is some shops aren’t airconditioned so you should always wear light comfy clothes. And also a problem is the clothes aren’t arranged. It’s just in one huge rack 😂 but nonetheless its very fun!

I used to thrift a lot more before, but now most shops are just in that upper price range of the middle tier you mentioned, because second hand clothing is trendy. I think I would probably be ok with buying something relatively expensive and truly vintage, if it's excellent quality.
