For the folks that are being negative about Dr. B. Selling a product. I’d rather buy from someone whose opinion I’ve come to trust. I believe that any supplement is taken temporarily. After being sick, after antibiotics, after some indulgence on vacation. For me it’s a reset. We all have different microbes, we are on different medications, have different genes, different stress. I’d rather spend my money by eating good quality food than buy any supplements in general. I may try this for all the reasons above. He’s even said you can’t supplement to fix a bad lifestyle!! In my humble opinion, there are many pillars of health: Fasting, eating more diversity of plants, exercise, reducing stress and yes occasional supplements!
Dr. B is clearly crossing a line here. This is not a channel for the benefit of the bank account of Dr. B. The sales pitch is BS and does not belong here. Let your potatoes and rice cool off and there you have your resistant starch. This hard sell of an unnecessary, expensive supplement is very much at odds with everything this channel stands for.
With all due respect, your reaction is exactly why this sales pitch is given here, on this channel. That's the trick: you gain confidence, you make sure you come across as thrustworthy, people believe you, rely on you, and then wham... you start cashing in on your carefully constructed image of a wise and knowledgable medical doctor, MEDICAL in capitals, with a product that nobody needs and only benefits the seller. And it's very disappointing that this channel allows this to happen and goes along with it. "Hmmm this tastes realy good" from Chuck sounds quite different when he's tasting a home made WFPT recipe then when tasting an expensive, completely superfluous supplement, that is launched for the sole purpose of making money. Remember the mantra from Dr. Barnard - You. Don't. Need. Supplements. Only B12.
I really respect and appreciate Dr. B and the chemistry with Chuck. I don’t appreciate the hard sell here, though. A book in the background, OK, not this long minutes of shameless promotion of a supplement that nobody needs, especially not the people following the Physicians Committee channel. I unsubscribed from Dr. B's mailinglist because of the intrusive selling there, I skip Dr. B's self-promotion on Zoe, please keep this channel free of commercials.
I am so glad to see a doctor using their training and knowledge to help others with preventative measures instead of treatment of symptoms!! Thank you so much for putting together a guided challenge to help us get our guts straightened out! And most importantly creating a product of such high standards that we know we can trust instead of buying blindly. Even though I do all I can to eat healthy I am always on the lookout for products that can help me stay on track with a healthy gut biome! Please don't let any of the negative comments discourage you from taking care of those of us who deeply appreciate your gifts!! It's just their bad microbes, that don't want them to get healthy and kill them off, speaking! LOL FYI it is called auto-brewery syndrome when you fail a DUI but have not consumed alcohol. It is rare. Thanks again! Love you guys!!
Regarding the question about sugar fermenting into alcohol, I remember a case we had to read about five decades ago in law school in which the defence to a charge of driving with more alcohol in the blood than the legal limit (generally in Canada referred to as over 08) was that the alcohol had fermented in the person who had not consumed any alcohol. The judge accepted the medical evidence which was that it had happened in the particular person in question, but still convicted. If I remember correctly the evidence presented to the court was that the fermenting into alcohol in the body was very unusual and would not happen in most people. Obviously, this was a long time ago, I don't remember the case very well, the science presented may or may not have been correct or it could have been superseded by further research.
I will buy and try this product. I believe it’s development has come from a genuine passion and commitment to science and his medical practice. I’d prefer Dr B made the money than a faceless company. He’s put himself on the line here and I’ll give it a try.
I’ve been taking psyllium husk from hearing of its benefits from Dr B, and eating fermented foods has helped with my bloating and gas issues. Both have done wonders for my IBS-D, so I’d be interested in this product if it’s reasonably priced.
I think the question Dr B needs to answer is whether this supplement is necessary for those of us who already lean into the 30+ plants and follow his Fiber Fueled eating plan already? …. Or is this product meant for the people in our lives who are struggling with SAD diet? I know this is a brand new launch and the pitch will tighten up over time. Initial feedback is that the intended audience is still vague and the ‘call to action’ for viewers who are already onside with his message is just a bit unclear. Thanks to Dr B for all he does…
Like many, I lost much of my respect for Dr. B because of this commercial. It goes against the fundamental message of this channel: eat well, eat what nature gives you, eat plants, move your body, and you don't need supplements. Supplements are a goldmine for money hunters, as Dr. B shows to be, targeting people who want it all in a pill, so they can skip the effort that this channel is promoting.
@kfc4007 I hope you never have gut problems but you are so off-key. He is a gut dr and sees patients all over the map. I personally am struggling after being given antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection. You could have just stopped the video at that point and moved on if it is not for you. The man is changing the world and owes you nothing.
I just checked the 38 Tera link to Amazon and it pointed to an unrelated book. Will there be other ways of ordering this? I live in Canada, and I also try to not use Amazon if I can avoid it.
If you want to see the story of the weight loss hero, we are happy to present it to you as our support for all lovers of healthy living The story is presented in Arabic but has been translated into all languages Our story is called ❤️🔥 The Story of Weight Loss Champion Chuck Carroll ❤️🔥
❤❤I eat and drink lots fructose…especially in the am. Fructose and sugar are very different. Fats…oils cause insulin resistance…and damage to the organs. ❤. In general I eat low fats….never oils and lot of nuts n seeds…small amounts of walnuts, cashews etc. ikes
Happy New Year! I love you guys but this tendency towards the capitalistic side of the scale is a bit worrying.... Don't let the corruptive power of making money affect your philosophy of helping the world. Money could create a bias in the future..... Please, stay vigilant.
I understand your perspective, but don’t we all need money? Sometimes we talk about it as if it’s this foreign thing, yet we don’t do many things for free, we need money to survive. Everything is done for money, except volunteering, and money didn’t originate with capitalism, we’ve been using it ever since we stopped trading cows and sheep. I don’t think he can offer his product for free even if he wanted to, it costs money to make it and distribute it.
I LOVE dark chocolate, but I cannot eat it at night! I have sleep issues and cannot. I have been trying to eat dark tart cherries (not the juice) after dinner to satisfy my sweet tooth without caffeine and they are good for sleep. Any other suggestions to satisfy my sweet tooth with healthy snacks? Not for nighttime but for daytime...
I don't need this product but I was thinking that my older cat might benefit, if there were an unflavored option. Your thoughts? I am giving her soluble and insoluble fiber. Additionally there is an occasional need to give her polyethylene glycol 3350 which I do not want to do.
Dr. B just lost me. I will unsubscribe. He used to say if we eat correctly, we just didn't need supplements. Now the money hungry guy has appeared. And I will disappear. Sorry- still love watching Chuck. Sorry Chuck had to be put in this situation.
Doctor B jumped the shark as far as I'm concerned. I have lost respect for Dr. Bulsiewicz, this episode is all about money money money. This episode is nothing but a glorified ad for another miracle supplement. And Chuck, your channel gets an immediate unsubscribe and first ever thumb down, bye.
Geez…yet another hawking of a supplement. I appreciated Dr Bs message in the past, but now I’m tuned out as I feel like it is an infomercial. No thanks.
Never seen two people so excited about gut microbes. Excellent!
I really respect and appreciate Dr. B. Bought all his books. I don’t appreciate the hard sell here, though.
Thank you both! Much appreciated. Hope you both and everyone here has a healthy and joyful 2024!

Tropical Fruit Leaf Teas, Guava, Jackfruit, Mango, Mangosteen…🐸Excellent discussion, thank you❤️
Watching from Ghana- Daniel
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and personal experiences!! ❤
I didn't expect supplement selling :/
Especially for something that's easily accessible from food.
Great video!

Its free in your back yard
What are the 7 plants in the fiber supp??
Love that tie, Mr. Chuck.

Watching Chuck open the can made me lol 😂
The link to 38 Tera /Amazon does not come up with your product, but another author’s book! Please correct.
Love your bright green tie

Shopping on Amazon, Amazon has so much of the market share. Is there another venue?

Such a hard sell. Disappointed as it always comes to $$$$$.
Where do you buy the supplement? Is the one on Amazon called Tara his stuff spelled TERRA.
The 38 Tera link above is incorrect
Little substance to this podcast, and then it turns into an infomercial for Dr. Bulsiewicz's new company!
So sick of these Dr's turning into supplement sellers
Hello- would 38Tera be internationally mailed?

Dr B!! I loved you until you started hoking that product🤨
New year, new poo. 🥳

Please don’t give human supplements to any animal. They are biologically different and you can cause real harm or death.
Every new year i would try a new food, look like I may try a new supplement.
Dr. B is the "Fresh Prince of Poop"!
Dark chocolate has, level of Axalates.
Dr. B just lost me. I will unsubscribe. He used to say if we eat correctly, we just didn't need supplements. Now the money hungry guy has appeared. And I will disappear. Sorry- still love watching Chuck. Sorry Chuck had to be put in this situation.
it does feel surprisingly disingenuous,
Totally agree. Always comes down to $$$$$. 😢
If the end of the interview bothers you just don’t listen to the whole thing. 🤷🏻♀️
the end? I didn't make it to 10 minutes@@herickson6779
I understand this feeling, however I do trust Dr. B’s judgement. This supplement must be impactful. Keep it plant based everyone 👍
