    Aaahh the oul bus stop outside Speights shopping centre ... the memories of waitin around there for the poxy bus to show up !

    My late Dad was a bus driver in Limerick at this time, I was hoping to spot him in this but sadly not to be - but anyway thanks for stirring up some memories all the same.

    Watching this just reminded me of what the city used to look like, seeing the savoy cinema which is were the savoy hotel is now, the old carlton cinema, speights shopping centre which is were dunnes stores is now, the good old days 😊

    That part of Henry Street looked so unkempt then. It certainly looks better now and the resurfacing in (2004?) has lasted well.
    I can't get over how much traffic was coming up Lower Bedford Row.

    Not trying to find fault but 2 of the buses shown were kr 199 not kc and kr 191 ,nice video .thanks for showing

    I came to Ireland 6 years later in 2004, and honestly the street were much cleaner than in this video and traffic was different especially the buses, as if Ireland made 30 years of economic progress in that time.

    why do u need to use the bus in limerick city????
    limerick is very very small city i cant even call it a city is kind of a village compare it to real cities

      Buses are for moving people. Its to lessen the amount of cars on the city streets, and yes limerick is a city, 100,000 population.
