First of all i am your subscriber from last 4 months and i like your content too. the amount of epf can only be withdrawn for a medical treatment only when the hospitalization period exceeds 1month. you cannot withdraw it when it is less than a month. secondly for withdrawal the epf account should be updated with the persons KYC. if not updated then it takes 3-4 working days to update. and then the bank account of the person withdrawing the money should be updated if not then it will take 2-3 working days and after this the process of withdrawal will start it takes 2-3 working days for approval and after approval it takes 15-20days to be credited into the account.
