This one: The 1950's auto racing, that mostly centered on the unique dirt car races...the one thing for sure - lots of famous names were mentioned...and many had died in various events. These cars in style, like the general looks of the previous decade or two were, dangerous. As we all saw, the decades ahead made the cars safer as well as many of the tracks. Thank God for that! It's still sad to hear the distinctive voice of the great Bob Jenkins and know that he is no longer around as of the past few years. Like Sid Collins of the Indy "500" 25 years of hearing his unique voice at I.M.S. and: "And now, stay tune to the greatest spectacle in racing!" These men, along with a few other auto racing sportcasters were great! The 1950s and 1960s had literally "the best of the best " in auto racing's history!

i had no idea there is footage of EVERY big car race held my my favorite track The Milwaukee Mile!
I wish they had EVERY one. The Rex Mays decade from 1939-1949 is missing. Dick Wallen did an amazing job documenting what he did.
