Barbados is great. Known as the culinary capital of the Caribbean. So many great restaurants. We hope to make it back there someday. Thanks for watching!

Good content but some places definitely got more attention and detailed analysis than others. For example Chefette, the only menu item you elaborated on was the milkshake essentially.

Thanks for watching. About Chefette. The fact is, all we ever had there was the Milkshakes. I guess we had ice cream once. Never tried any of their other actual food items.

Thanks for watching. When we were there in May 2018, I recall the burgers at Mojo being about $15USD. Looking back at our bills, for two people it was about $50USD with sodas for two of us.
I have some Barbados's vlogs and in the one at the link below at the 1:28 mark there is a shot of the menu board at Bliss. It isn't real easy to read, but you can make out some of the prices. It looks like waffles were $12-15BD, about $6-8USD and the Snazzy Shakes were $16BD, about $8UDS. Bliss Cafe has now moved to a new location.

Nothing truly local, only food that was tailored to suit tourists. The only thing remotely local was fish cakes and chefette.

Naomi Hall This is a review of the restaurants that “WE ATE AT”. We never suggested that these are the only restaurants people should try. This is simply the restaurants that we chose to eat at when there.

My experience is that the food in general very disappointing and very expensive foe what they offered. Beaches are the best.

Barbados is known as the culinary capital of the Caribbean. We found much of the food to be pretty good, but also had some deiocure meals. The beaches on the west coast were fantastic. Unfortunately, when we were there they also had a lot of seaweed that made the east coast beaches unusable. Some of the south coast beaches were fine, while others had seaweed. Thanks for watching!

I'm sorry, but KFC in Barbados has way more flavor than the KFC in the US or Canada. Barbados uses more spices and herbs and the spicy chicken is to die for!!!!

Isn't the Colonel's recipe the same all over the world?

@@TaziarTravel It seems to me that the ratio of the different 11 herbs and spices varies depending on the location perhaps to appease local preferences. The chicken is definitely more hot and spicey in the Caribbean than it is in some parts of the U.S.A.
