Yeah, this is about her accuser Timothy Heller. The accusation was made December 4th 2017 and she released this song on Soundcloud December 22. She's not even getting paid for this song so it feels more like a statement/response.
Btw, she made her statement into a song because she has said before that creating is the only way she know how to express herself. Also, if you remember from Fire Drill, she said she's not good at public speaking so I feel like a song was perfect for her to get out exactly how she feels instead of a statement
She actually really helped the person who accused her. Like- she even let the persons band open for her crybaby tour concert at some point. She gave feedback on their music as well. When she blew up she didn’t continue to put all her energy into this friendship and she didn’t do favors for her friend because she wanted to focus on her own career. And the person made up lies to push their own career forward, and it didn’t work thankfully, but Melanie still has to deal with hate daily. Sad days for mel while writing this.
Melanie is amazing but this scandal rlly hurt her public image

She isn't. There were like two incidents that people go to to try to prove she's rude which is just bogus. She just had 2 bad moments mostly caused by anxiety. Truth is, she loves her fans
