I love that idea with the newspaper! I will definitely take that with on my next project. I was actually wondering, whether you set the white balance according to the key light or on purpose a little bit warmer or colder?
I usually set it to match the main light hitting the skin. But if the video isn't too compressed I can set it a bit under or over to make it look closer to what I want for the final result/grade, on set.

hi buddy, i am struggling right now with recording in slog 3. i have done so many projects on this picture profile and in some of them i nailed the lighting and the exposure but i really need a way for it to do it every single time. i tried to use false color but it do not work so well. u know it is slog 3 😂😂. so how i should do it when there is god rays in the room and i need the contrast how i should do it? with zebras? histogram?!! maybe eye? 😂😂 please help me mate. thanks a lot and your work is so beautiful and flawless.

Good work, However, I would have gotten rid of the newspapers on your night scenes. Having the black curtains outside would have been enough. Also instead of making holes in the newspaper sheets, I would have stick them in a way that some do not overlap to give some spaces for light beams to pass through. Best wishes

in some of the parts of the video you see the sun rays coming through the windows but like the rays coming through the newspaper holes but the windows dont have any newspapers on them and in some shot you can see them. So did you remove the news papers from the windows in post production? if yes how?
Hi! I think the shots you are referring to are from the first mood. Since we cut fast from the second mood to the first mood it might look the same sometimes. But you will get rays without newspaper with holes as well, just not so distinct.

Hi Adrian. Thanks. We haven't used the X60 yet for talking heads, but we used 3 x Molus X100 for interviews, and that worked great!
