Bought 2 holsters 1 yr ago and 1 was better than the other. Just ordered holster n mag holder 11 days ago and nothing. Took my money same day though. Tried 5xs to contact them. Crickets. Never again.
I got Raw Dog Hybrid IWB for my Sig 365XL and after a few days on the trial, the leather portion starts to soften and expand, becoming too loose to secure my firearm. I've adjusted the screws to the max and still too loose. Last thing I want is to lose my firearm during a tumble, whether accidental or during a struggle. Need a better way to secure the firearm.
Received the two I ordered today. One fit well, Glock 23. The other for a 1911 4” was far to loose. It wiggled 1/2-3/4” and the pistol just falls out. The leather is a full 3/16” wide and feels comfortable on the skin. I abdomen carry and for some unknown reason I get poked in the groin area. I’ve contacted customer service and requested replacement or refund for the one. We’ll see how that turns out.
Love my RawDog IWB holster for my Taurus PT938 but the one I got for my Glock 33 is made too big so it's not as uncomfortable unfortunately. Thinking I'm going but a smaller formed one for the Glock.
Iv been considering getting one and one question comes to mind: is there any burnishing on the slide? I currently have/love my Safariland 575 (www.safariland.com/all-products/575-iwb-gls-pro-fit-holster-1187422.html?gclid=CIW3o9ig_NQCFRUjgQodrRoF4A) but the issue i have is that even with cerakoting, the holster rips through the cerakote like it was plastidip. Trying to find a holster that wont be destroying my slide when i get it refinished... again
I've had no problems with it at all. Of course, neither of mine are cerakoted. Over time, I'm sure even the black tenifer will start to show some wear-marks.
looks just like Keyhole holster-Spartan series....I've had a Fox, similar design, but kydex is like .06 which this Raw dog looks like also....too thin to me..... Keyhole uses .08 Kydex I think I read
I'll tell you what I don't care how great that holster is I will never own something that is called "raw dog". I have a Raptor from T-Rex Arms, sounds a whole lot cooler

do you appendix carry with it? i like to carry kind of cross draw 11/12 o'clock position. is it too wide to do so?
I don't appendix carry because I think it is way too uncomfortable. You should be able to with this holster. Though the angle might be off.

Yes, if you are dressed in snug fit shirt. In the winter, I wear light jacket or big loose shirt over t shirt. So, no printing with my OWB holster.

I really have not cleaned them at all. I never wear them just against skin anyway. I also don't work out with them on, so not reall been a problem.

I'm 4 years late but these days it's plastic. It's garbage, doesn't even stay on my tac belt

oh, and I just see the Keyholes, based Spartan IWB is like 30 bucks.
But the leather in the keyhole holster is too thin and over the time is hard to reholster because the leather gets very soft
They should at least offer a wider clip after market.
Hey if anyone's interested I'm selling Con-Doms holsters. They're kind of like Raw Dog, but they feel better against your skin.

That's right. My hospital no longer allows employees to even carry multi tools! A butter knife is considered an assault weapon by mgmt!
