It really doesn't look bad Lexi. They should come out with more colors tho...kind of like makeup when they have various shades for eyebrows (especially for WOC). To add, maybe the dense toothbrush made it apply like "paint"....like you're using a paint brush 😂

I love this product...I'm starting to get greys around my edges and I love wearing my hair slicked back in ponytails. This stuff does both cover and lay down edges beautifully. I will say, a little goes a long way bc I've used it daily before and the build up wasn't bad and it didn't flake. This is a staple for me.

Right, it's not for you. If one has thinner edges, this stuff is a miracle worker. Been using it for over a year and once it dries, it doesn't transfer onto anything. Someone with naturally beautiful edges like yourself doesn't need this. It doesn't look bad on you, but you certainly don't need it. The Ebin brand holds and lasts for 24 hours and 4 colors so it's a win-win for those who need it once in a while

I agree, I think you're just not used to seeing yourself with it on, but try it for a few days at work or out and about and THEN see how you feel plus friends n family reaction, BUT without mentioning it to them so they can form their own honest unbiased opinion. But I agree I think it looks natural, as if you only applied an edge control.
I would say its a no, it might be beneficial for someone that has more grays. My main concern is how does this react to humidity. Because I'm thinking once the heat hits it is going to melt down your forehead. I think this would be great for pictures. I would use this if I wanted Instagram edges. I think it looks GREAT! I'm going to get me some. I just dyed my hair black to cover my gray. If that can hold me over until next dye day... I'm scraight!

You do not need colored hair control. This is for those who need to cover greys.

I think those like you who have edges and no gray, don’t need this or use less. I do have gray and some thin areas, this may work better for me. Good thing it doesn’t bleed. I also have seen different shades from another brand ( brown, dark brown etc). Thanks for sharing 🥰
It.s not too bad shiny though lol . I tried and yes I have grey hairs lol. I cant remember which one I used but I think it was creme of nature black it had no staying power but it didn't transfer that I know of lol
I thought this product was a good idea to cover of up sparce hairs and grays but as soon as you applied it it looked like one of those at home hair dye kits on your hair. The color "stains" the scalp so it doesn't look as natural up close . I will say it looks lile it gives nice hold.

Ummm, this looks hella good. I'm buying it, not sure why you didn't like it lol. Maybe you need to use a little less, until you get comfortable with the "new edge look". Thanks for the video!

It really doesn't look that bad at all. I use it when I wear my wigs to kinda soften the line of demarcation from edges to wig.
It's hard to say because it makes your hairline look fake .. you now have 2 textures .. the fullness I like & it looks good on you (to me) .. it lays really well but how long does it last 🤔🤔

I have grey hair i use it use a little at a time so it wont be thick like you have it. It would be great if you could learn how to use it a nd than do a tutorial on it
There is a dark brown edge control which I like better than the black. Using too much can have a dramatic look, play with it until you get the look youvwant.
I think you used too much. You have a lot of edges already. It’s for people like me with grey edges and thin edges. It looks good on you
I thought it looked good and laid your edges down nicely.
Your edges look good. However, I think that you can lighten up when you apply it. It seems that putting a little more than what was needed showed once you passed the edges.

I agree. I don't think it's for you. Your edges look natural and blends in with your hair, whereas the product is blending well. It actually looks like you might be covering gray. Nice hairdo by the way!
Edges look great ladies put less and build to your likeness.
lol i had the same reaction when i used that edge control.... & then gave it to my momma. however it doesn't look to bad on camera though.

I’ve tried two black edge controls. They did not last and left a Shadow. I did not like them either. I tried tying one down and it lifted right up with the scarf. Issa NO for me too.

I think you used too much. If you apply a tiny amount it will work. And it does look ok.
Looks great! Only thing is you put away too much on the sides and you need a color that's natural black. Other than that it looks amazing.

Take a spoolie a run it through the edge then take maybe a makeup wipe or something and clean it up.

It looks fine..maybe u should use a little less if u think it looks fake. You can put a little on the toothbrush and apply it then...Also lay them down with a scarf for a few minutes
Is perfect. For who really needed for people like me. You don't need it at all someone that really has the problem a lot of people have like me should do the test not someone that really doesn't have the need to do it like you. I really am going to buy it because this is really a miracle product. I love it for me but you do not need it you have too much hair. That's why it looks very thick on you because u have too much hair. But thank you.

I'm looking into these, fed up of rubbish hair dyes ruining my thick Afro hair, and cover my greys! Tip use Keratin kits to restore softness and strength to damaged Afro and Asian hair! Better than these expensive Afro stuff. Uk 🇬🇧

I was just about to buy this, this review helped. Mainly to cover dye- resistant grey Afro roots!:Do your research first! Its £8/$10 in the Uk. And I want a Matte one, not a greasy black hair gel. I mixed Indigo henna with charcoal powder and added Tresemme conditioner and hair gel to temporarily cover pesky grey roots! Saves cash lol 😆. Uk 🇬🇧 1.5.23

not too bad. it doesn't look bad on you at all. if you did look crazy, trust and believe, I would tell you to please wash that off with the quickest. lolol. all jokes aside, if it came in a dark brown, it would be better. I have edges to, with a couple of gray hairs. my gray hair is so minimal, that I wouldn't bother using this product. notwithstanding, I would probably consider buying something like this if I grow more gray hair, but it has to be in a color that compliments me.
Your thumbnail terrified me 😱🤣 This ish looks like tar in a jar 😐 I already think that edge control give an unnatural look when it's too shiny so this one also looks unnatural to me. It looks like you just colored your hairline jet black and since it's fresh, the color is still very dark and still on your forehead hairs, then you applied a very shiny edge control on top. I think it would look better if it was brown and was less shiny.
And I can't even imagine the scene where you hug a friend or worse your SO and be like "Oops!😶 I left my edges on your shirt!" 🤣

Yes to the beat flawless close up. I’m going to say no. It doesn’t look bad but it does look fake, the shine and the shadow doesn’t do it for me. I feel like if you wanted to just wear a head wrap and have your edges out then okay..but other than that..no.
I purchased this product today from my local beauty supply and it's a soupy mess completely melted.
It's not bad but I do see the shadow you are speaking about. More looks like a forehead contour 🤗

It looks okay on camera, but the camera is often very different from real life it seems. I do think if perhaps you tried it before applying your makeup you might have liked it better? By the way, your skin looks really good today.
Yeah I think the lighting is making it look a little washed out
I think u made a few mistakes. 1. You use the wrong color, maybe the black would have been better than the "jet black". 2. You have no grays, I'm thinking you would have seen better result. Also why I'm here researching. 3. You applied to much in my opinion. 4. I also think it might have looked better if your hair was up in a bun. Thanks for your video tho.
