Hi Brian, Although we had a strong breeze the conditions were really great and makes for an easier day. We'll be back in shortly to get the other three with a bit of luck. Cheers
Hi Charlie, hi Mike, wonderful video again, just stunning views, what a fabulous day you had. I’m off in to the Coniston hills on Monday, and the forecast it set to be just as good, fingers crossed. Thanks for sharing your days adventure as always. Cheers Dave 😀🥾⛰🏴
Charlie, You’ve done it again. This is a route I’ve been looking at doing. Great to check it out on your video. As always thoroughly enjoyed it. Cheers
Hi Timothy, We've completed this route a couple of times now and enjoy getting to the three tops in the east. You could enjoy a bike ride into the bothy to cut things down an bit if it takes your fancy. Cheers
Grand day for a grand location and a grand video to record it. Thanks again. I had forgotten Beinn a'Chlaidheimh was demoted. I went straight up the steep slope from Shenavall on a hot day in July 1991. That other bothy looks more salubrious than Shenavall which was full of empty bottles that day!
Hi Geoffrey, Demoted or not its certainly a top to include the group in my opinion. The bothy is a cracker and we had a look around on our previous visit but I've never been into Shenavail preferring to coming into these hills from Kinlochewe when we completed the 6 in a day routes. Cheers
I've not been to Fisherfield in a wee while, but there's something very special about the place, and to see it in such fine condition was a real treat. Thanks as always gents. Great stuff 👍
Only Thursday gone :) .... and to think I'm in work when ye lads are having amazing hikes and adventures:) 11 hrs wow, stunning video and great knowledge Charlie of the mountains 360 degrees. Thks M ☘️
Hi M☘, Glad you enjoyed our Fisherfield outing which was another cracking. Many thanks for watching and hopefully it won't be long and we'll get around the other three tops. Cheers
@@merkyw4187 I'm not sure why but tops that are close to the 3000' are occasionally surveyed to verify their height. With the accuracy of modern equipment is likely to pick up any initial errors. It's not something they do all the time but they just need to leave them as I can't see it makes a major difference. Cheers
I just returned from Scotland (back to England) after completing a number of Munro’s, 3 of which you covered in a previous vid (Lochnagar etc,) and I can vouch what some of the other guys are commenting on: you don’t half put a shift in! Watching vids is one thing but actually doing it is another. I’m a fit mountain walker myself so know the score, the rounds and times you do are pretty impressive. Keep em coming, it’s addictive viewing. Richard.
Hi Richard, It’s really great that you enjoy our outings, it’s much appreciate. Hopefully, a few other longer days coming up and we’re hoping the weather holds through next week. Cheers
Absolutely brilliant Charlie & Mike 👏unbelievable the distance you two walk and have time to film amazing, so grateful to see some beautiful mountains and scenery, thank you 🤗
Hello, Really glad you enjoyed this one. We normally complete the Fisherfield six in a single outing from Kinlochewe so it was nice to break them down for a change after getting stormed off the mountain on a previous visit. It's a magic remote area which cries out for being done in clear conditions just to fully enjoy the adventure. Enjoy, when you get around to them. Cheers
Brilliant day out again Charlie , I was parked up overnight in the camper the next layby up from the fanaichs car park, I was heading to An Teallach, the winds were very strong for all it was sunny , I biked it in to fisher field on the Wednesday but abandoned it and headed back out the weather was really bad in the morning i was drenched so didn't fancy tackling them as would be a very long day. 👍
Hi Ally, I think you made the right decision to delay your visit into these tops. You really need settled weather to get the full experience and help with the long days walking. Cheers
Brilliant Charlie glad you did the Corbett as well it’s a lovely mountain I just wish they would stop trying to re surveying Munro’s in wales they re surveyed Tryfan and glider fawr but found them higher lol so the survey team were disappointed think the fisherfield will always be six hills in my heart fantastic footage you guys are very fit well done really enjoyed the views
Hi Andrew, I agree with you, leave the tops alone... does it honestly matter that much? We've always done the six and it won't seem right to cut it to a five 👍 Cheers

You have been going for it in May, haven't you? 30+km and 10+hours. Mind, you've had some lovely weather, despite the odd snow shower. I've been glad to tag along from the comfort of my chair. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Andy, Our 6 in a day routes have always been camping from Kinlochewe and we'll probably go in from there to get the other three in a day. Coming in from the east is a good option for splitting the group and a cycle into the bothy could shorten the day no problem. Cheers
Great video gents. Another big day for you. Love the Fisherfield area, a real sense of remoteness when in there. Fantastic clarity and you captured cracking views. A wonderful day for you.
Your video work is superb. I love this part of Scotland. Beinn Dearg Mor, left picture 4:54, is a superb and quite a challenging hill walk. Also on the east side of Sgurr Ban above Loch an Nid, is a large area of exposed rock. I once read an article on this, and it was mystery why this should be the case.
Hi Malcolm, Its a terrific area with some unusual landscape as you say. The slab areas are massive. Beinn Dearg Mor is a beauty which certainly would need a bit of effort to get the summit. We really enjoyed this visit. Cheers
Somehow missed this one? 😂 fantastic views again. Is this a cycleable route? Yeah I’m going to copy you here Charlie! Brilliant. Right need to get to work! Cheers again. Paul
Glorious country, magnificent hills; one of this country's last remaining true wild places. Good to hear you name the peaks in your commentary rather than just referring to them as Munro 1, Munro 2 etc. It's much easier to identify the peaks when following your route on a map. Peaks get their names often because of their characteristics so it is nice to be reminded of that when we see them in your videos.
Hi Ian, I've always managed to remember the names of this group of hills. Perhaps the effort getting to them has something to do with it. I always remember the first time I did Sgurr Ban and it's probably the worst I've felt on any subsequent hill through the years.... it was number 4 of 6 that day but great memories. Cheers
Hi Paul, Many thanks for taking the time to view and comment on our latest outing. It was a cracker and looking forward to getting the other three Munros quite soon. Cheers

Hi Murdo, It was a tad breezy which was good to have at your back. I hope you have similar weather during your planned visit as the camera just doesn't't capture the grandeur of these tops. Cheers
Brilliant Charlie, absolutely brilliant. A big day indeed but what fantastic views you were rewarded with, outstanding 👏👏 Would you do the other 3 in one day Charlie.? Or are they 2 more seperate days.? ATB Frank
Hi Charlie. Amazing content as usual. I have 2 questions to ask if you don't mind... how many rounds have you done? And what did you mean by marking your packs? Me and my mate often leave our packs out of sight, behind rocks, etc. Is there an etiquette for this?
Hi Bob, Mike and I are nearing the end of our 5th & 6th rounds after many years of enjoying the Scottish hills. There never has been a plan to complete so many but we just keep bashing the hills and eventually another round gets completed. There certainly won't be a 6th & 7th as my iffy knees won't allow that 🤣 Marking the packs is simply storing the location into the gps so we can track back with ease, its a habit we got into after spending an hour once looking for our packs in a clear blue sky day. Cheers
Those Munros are better done from Corrie Hallie. I walked the six from there in a day years ago. Had a shower on return to my van and even enjoined two pints of ale in the FBI before closing time.
Another cracker lads. If I ever repeat these Hills then I'll go in this way. Interesting approach. Got a pal lain, he owns the Forest Way Bunkhouse ootside Ullapool. He went in that way and up the interesting slabs for the Munro Top. Cheers. 👍
Hi Kev, This access is a good option for cutting the tops in half. Hopefully, we'll be getting the other half done quite soon which is normally from Kinlochewe. Cheers
