Pup tents” were most likely named by Civil War troops, who commonly used the word “dog” for military slang, such as “dog tags.” One story points to the Chattanooga Infantry who gave their tents the nickname “dog houses.” From there, the name transformed into “pup tents.”
i still have our pup tents we got in boy scouts in the 70's left over tents from our USMC base here in Barstow lol

Welcome home to Disneyland Pixar Charlie, Spencer, and Katie! Thanks so much for bringing me to the park with you! Disneyland at night is so spectacular, my favorite ride to do at night is Mad Tea Party. The lights are so beautiful to see and it feels like the floating lantern scene from Tangled. I will have to check out Casey Jr. Circus Train at night as my next ride to do when night falls. I've been on it once and it's awesome. You are my favorite Disney Duo and I can't get enough of your videos.

Thank you for showing us *Max, Melvin, and Buff* because I really miss *Country Bear Jamboree,* it is like when we go on *Splash Mountain and Star Tours.* It makes me miss *America Sings* as well, because a lot of the recycled animatronics are in those rides (pure Disney imaginations). *Christmas Star and Matterhorn Climbers* boy does that bring so many memories.

Wow you guys just don’t skip a beat! Soo cool to see the monorail! So cool to see Pixar Charlie, and Brickey. Doesn’t it feel special to have that quaint, charming, genuine, close to you feeling of Disneyland? Please talk about that in your next opportunity, like what’s happening Wednesday? I bet Disney world wouldn’t be as special in its own way to you without the magic of the original Disneyland- I think their suffixes are very appropriate. There’s “Disneyland”and then the larger than life, “Disney World” Both are immersive but in different ways.

Spencer and Katie, Salads are super duper high in calories because of the toppings you've got them loaded down with. If you want to lose weight recovering from the WDW eating, replace the meats and the dairy toppings including the dressing with plant based options (such as black beans, garbanzos, rice, tofu and etc), and you'll have a much easier time losing weight while staying satisfied.
Just enjoy you both soooo much! Wish I had friends as great as you.

Saw today that ticket prices are going up. Pretty soon, the only way people will be able to enjoy the Parks is through a lottery or Hunger Games style tournament.
In the UK a "pup tent" is a small tent near the big tent, or campervan, often for the pre teens or teenagers who dont want to be in the family tent / camper with their parents but still want to camp nearby, or their parents want them to camp nearby to stay safe.
I love you both for your enthusiasm. Disneyland is my happy place.
