Tis guy is a beast. Him, VVD, Gomez, Matip, with Phillips as backup is easily the best defensive group in the Prem, Tsimikas is ready now, Minamino looks like what we expected now and Ox is lookin leaner, fitter and sharp as he was in 2017. If Keita can stay fit...These guys are essentially new signings in a practical sense. Wish we went and got Ingsy back though
It's impressive how almost 90% of his passes goes straight into the midfield, directly countering any form of high pressing from the opposition attackers. Most Defenders these days are comfortable making sideways short passes either to the other Center back or the Full backs. This guy is a steal for the amount Liverpool paid to sign him. He might not get alot of minutes from the beginning of the season, but consdering Joel Matip and Joe Gomez's track record with injuries, it wouldn't be long before he'll become the preferred and established partner at center back with VVD. I really can't wait for the season to start...
People are moaning about Liverpool not signing players or spending 100m, this guy is a gem and I can't wait to see him pair up with VVD.

Ibu is quite like VVD, but sharper and younger!! He reads the game well and his range of passing is phenomenal! Now we have 2 VVDs and 2 Robbos! Kostas is also a Robbo copy-cat, but shaper, his crosses are crisp

his mid passes are good we often waste time passing the ball left and right which slows our game . I noticed he just picks players in the midfield effortlessly.
Finally someone realised that! Thiago actually can do that too if only our players especially forwards not being static when Thiago got the ball and keep on doing runs in behind

His movement is like mamadou sakho, but Ibou is faster & stronger. If he can improve calmness, then he will be an elegant defender..
