Because the SC game play is a lot more explosive. For example, if you can't micro marines, then an entire group of them might get owned by 2 rows of lurker spikes. Plus 3 lings dying only happens in early game. In late game a Zerg players usually loses 20+ lings each battle to achieve his goals.
ctrl+any number to put what you have selected in a group for example ctrl+1 - you make great hall whenever you will press 1 from now on... you will select your great hall
I think it was critical strike + circlets of nobility + boots of speed. When you got about 100-damage crits at level 2, everyone was amazed and ecstatic.
Practice 0.0 Also, the custom map called 'Micro Training' generates scenarios where each side has a typical army, (eg, talons vs standard orc), and two players play and the side with the better micro win. Pretty handy actually.
AS far as I know you only get exp. if the hero kills the creep or a unit under the hero's command now if a building kills the creep such as an ancient of war or a tower no experience will be gained whatsoever.
man im trying out warcraft TFT and im getting murdered by freakin easy computers cause i dont know how to set up my units, i usually use the blademaster hero u guys got any tips?
In addition to the other guy, apm kinda means nothing most of the time too in regards to the fact that they just spam three selections of the same building just to up it...
doubt it, most good solo players don't upgrade units since they usually mix a bunch of units that can't benefit from 1 upgrade. They only research upgrade if they have an expansion and massing strong units such as grpyhons or destroyers.
SC involves more strategy then WC but, WC involves more micro then macro Macro is a lot easier then micro you'll see when you go up against a pro microer with casters. > >
you might, get a high apm or a semi high apm from doing all of that, but clicking nonstop in the beginning when it isnt necessary to raise your apm wont mean shit
grubby didnt even fast tech...he did standard build. and xiaot i am almost certain did not plan to tower until he had the clear advantage and wanted to press.
@narakupain not really sure when u posted that, but grubby probably isnt even top 50 players right now.. lots of ppl surpassing his throne as top orc player and one of top overall players in wc3
WC macro fails since HU is the only race that has to rely on expo'ing to secure a win while other races can play off 1 mine. In SC, unless it's a short game, you do need to expand frequently. Plus, in WC, you can hotkey everything so even noobs can select their buildings via hotkey and make units easily. In later game SC, you can't hotkey every building and that's where you need good and fast multi-tasking. If you don't multi-task, you fail miserably.
Geez what are you 5? Keeping someone on their toes means they keep focused on the game. By getting his fingers warm, he means keep the blood flowing. They do that in track meets, the coaches make you jog a bit to get the blood to start flowing rather than wait for it to get flowing in the middle of a race.
something u drink? what u want ? yes? hmmm? ready to work ? somethong u drink? hmmmm? ready to work what u want? thats make me crazy i love
I must say I prefer SC, but theyre both excellent games in their own right...can't we just agree on that.
The Two best rts games ever. and thats that.
I love it when people use the Goweeuds!!! YAY
(wolves) my favorite because they're so Goweeud

actually its because this game is almost 3 years old. Back then, going FS first was standard. It wasnt until later that going BM first became the norm.
ctrl+any number to put what you have selected in a group for example ctrl+1 - you make great hall whenever you will press 1 from now on... you will select your great hall
Sick micro. Always good to see great warcraft
ready to work! something to drink? yes? what do you want? werk werk.
it is really impressive that grubby can beat the almost perfect tower rush . gg
watching this video for the first time since 13 years!!
@KicHMaN99 most people do that yes, but there's also a section called pvp on wow which is very satisfying
I think it was critical strike + circlets of nobility + boots of speed.

Good game, always when grubby is playing :D THx for the video
Agreed. Blizzard is unrivaled in making competetive rts =)
erm how did red get a neutral hero? which map has the shop to buy them?
First person point-of-view, meaning you're watching the person play from his own comp as if you were playing.
You may like it better, but I think Starcraft's an awesome game that has many many possibilities =)
I like it better too, but it's a very different style of gameplay.
yeah recent videos show grubby uses the bm now, but what influenced the change?
his wolf was with the group that creeped, so he received the exp from his wolf.
...pants ofcourse. Wat else could he be refering to?
Getting a decent/average micro is easy, but the potential for perfection of micro is rather endless.
Don't underestimate it... it's a very very good game.
He's trying to stay warmed up by constantly doing something.
Actually in WC people with 300+ APM have 60% spam, in SC it's about 20% or less.
does all tthat switch and clicking helps at all?
where can i find part 2?
Yeah, I cant wait for Starcraft 2!!
el mejor jugador de warcraft sin duda .... el mejor..!!!
AS far as I know you only get exp. if the hero kills the creep or a unit under the hero's command now if a building kills the creep such as an ancient of war or a tower no experience will be gained whatsoever.
man im trying out warcraft TFT and im getting murdered by freakin easy computers cause i dont know how to set up my units, i usually use the blademaster hero u guys got any tips?
to warm up and in big battles you pretty much need to use hotkeys alot
How come all I hear is rally point setting?? And artificial nights mean better ww harass because of lower truesight range.
amazing how fast they are clicking
Maybe Starcraft is more fast paced and WC looks like South Park?
that wasn't a post it was a reply... the youtube system sucks...
which one is red and which one is green? who won ?
And blizzard doesn't plan to make a wc4, but they doesn't exclude it.
I feel sad for how god can create such people.
Aaaaahhhh such a good game and it doesn't show winner. NOES!
omg i thought gruuby would be pwned when i saw those towers a demos...
but far out xia wouldnt send any more troops o.O
In addition to the other guy, apm kinda means nothing most of the time too in regards to the fact that they just spam three selections of the same building just to up it...
wtf wheres the rest? i want to see what happend :(
Yeah I know, I was just giving a strat to beat the computers easily. It doesn't work as well in bnet games obviously.
Wow, I wonder if he ever pulled through this sticky situation?
Monholith deir mustzfah
seeing how fast they are clicking and using hot keys makes me wonder wtf am i doing when im playinh
he walks his peons back to the mine at the start as its slightly quicker to get gold for barracks
why does grubby click on the peons to go to the gold mine it does itself automaticaly?
havent played in 2 years but shit this is still hella enertaining
doubt it, most good solo players don't upgrade units since they usually mix a bunch of units that can't benefit from 1 upgrade. They only research upgrade if they have an expansion and massing strong units such as grpyhons or destroyers.
@eckocs1998 do yo ueven play this game?
how can i see my apm ?
Thanks for this fpvod
Well this was last year, now Grubby always get over 210 APM, only because he spams like a madman for the 2 first minutes. ( 500 APM+ )
wth happaned in the end? did the game end? who won? is there part 2? wtf?
SC involves more strategy then WC but, WC involves more micro then macro Macro is a lot easier then micro you'll see when you go up against a pro microer with casters. > >
Mass wyverns and use windwalk to target their heroes. They'll fall easily.
He hasn't, but if you have more than one hero, only ones close enough will get xp.
how u know that that map has more chance to drop int items?
Lmao this guy probably played SC during his nursery.
way to go grubby :D:D He's Dutch i'm proud of him :D
@KicHMaN99 that;s PVE , eventually it gets boring , PVP and arenas never get old.
you might, get a high apm or a semi high apm from doing all of that, but clicking nonstop in the beginning when it isnt necessary to raise your apm wont mean shit
grubby didnt even fast tech...he did standard build. and xiaot i am almost certain did not plan to tower until he had the clear advantage and wanted to press.
who won at last?
grubby won though! plus, he could of easily exited out to the right but xiaot would've continued to tower push.
early game, half of the actions are rally spams or something like that
I think he's trying to get gold faster by re-assigning move commands to slow moving peons.
what is he doing with the peons at the begginning? is there any reason to click so much?
w/e. don;t believe me, I don;t want u to believe me.
xiaOt APM - 286 - Wtf, that's nearly 5 clicks/keyboard presses a second on average... how can people keep that up over 25 minutes?
I think he is just trying to "warm up" Most of the pro players seem to have their own thing that they do early game similar to that
yea. its like comparing an apple with an orange. lol.
@narakupain not really sure when u posted that, but grubby probably isnt even top 50 players right now.. lots of ppl surpassing his throne as top orc player and one of top overall players in wc3
Africa isnt a country... its a continent...
For WC, all you need is 150 APM average anyways. Maybe 450+ in battles but otherwise you would be spamming.
WC macro fails since HU is the only race that has to rely on expo'ing to secure a win while other races can play off 1 mine. In SC, unless it's a short game, you do need to expand frequently. Plus, in WC, you can hotkey everything so even noobs can select their buildings via hotkey and make units easily. you think 285 is alot of APM starcraft palyers range from 400-800
tell me how to get it then! sir.
thanks dingels for the tip
if it says GRUBBY FPVoD than it cant be xiaOt...just think with your BRAIN
Grubby ends up winning this, look at xiaOT FPVoD of this same battle and you'll see the towers fall and Grubby clean up for the win.
Im loving people who dont realize how old this game is, bm wasnt even considered a viable hero at this time lmao
Geez what are you 5? Keeping someone on their toes means they keep focused on the game. By getting his fingers warm, he means keep the blood flowing. They do that in track meets, the coaches make you jog a bit to get the blood to start flowing rather than wait for it to get flowing in the middle of a race.
i think he has to be near to get exp, but he win gold for kill neutral creeps.
actions per minute
@MrEmil20 With a Tool like SK Replay Parser
nice
major apm inflation
KODOS!! DEVOUR POWER!!! :D
@iNvATcs the skill is actually being better than the other player
who won ?
Omg i like cake 2
lets form a club
what the hell is apm ?
xiaOt's apm is about 350+ i think
games tv wow O.o
@CuPants nope, their just tht good
its not the end video but grubby won he attack him after he defeat the towers.
