Well Jim, you young whipper-snapper, you taught this old dog a new trick! I never thought of the bit inside a bit method! And don't worry, in my younger days, I spent many nights on the floor hugging the toilet.😁Now, the "closing scene" is oscar worthy! BRAVO, BRAVO 👏!!!! Oh, and by the way, WE LOVE THE BATHROOM!🥰
Another great video! I had never thought of using a hole saw within a hole saw before. That tip was worth the price of admission. The ending was priceless! 😂🤣
Hey Jim. Two more methods of making a hole larger. 1. Use the wooden plug from the first hole and put it on the arbor drill bit. To use as a guide. Much like you did with the smaller hole saw. 2. Use a scrap piece of wood and drill it with the larger hole saw. Then take the scrap wood and drill place over the small hole making a collar to drill through. Keep the great videos coming.
you just taught alot of us a very valuable trick with the hole saw issue never thought of that thankyou cheer's and as always love the little smilly face
Beautiful sink in the bathroom. In a pinch.... open the shower/tub valve to hot setting next time. It will break the vacuum action within the hot water circuit. It may free up your thumb too. 👍 Of course success will depend on how the water lines were plumbed too. If that fails--try the "white bread" trick. Wad up enough bread to put into the pipe opening. Shove it back about 6" with a pencil to loosely stop the water trickle, quickly make your connections. Take out the diverter screens on the faucets, flush water and reinstall. You can also disconnect the water supply at the valve and flush into a bucket. The white bread dissolves in water fairly quickly by submersion. Allowing time to make your connections--without water impeding your work. Just some quick "bush fix's" for times of necessity and frustration. Yep, I've been in this exact situation that you were in too and this did work. 😃 Great job Cajun Family.
Oh we got such a kick out of this video! So many things!! Lad peeping through the….drain hole? One of a kind epoxy wood bracelet? Either way- shes adorbs. And the hole saw trick- genius! And oh my word, so relatable with the water line! Things happen and you just gotta roll with it! You guys were hilarious! And the ending! Omg so stinking funny! LOVE LOVE LOVE your bathroom! Every new thing you add just brings it all together! Well done our cajun friends! 🐊🌲
Jim I can't tell you how many times I've had to deal with water while working with plumbing.. I have to admit that I had a smile on my face watching you two 😊 The video ending was epic. This is one of those you gotta watch again videos. I don't know when I'm going to stop laughing.😂😂😂 It's still stuck in my head 😊
OK.... I have had enough time to decompress from the ending of this video 🤣🤣🤣 Great job on all the plumbing. I was thinking get a long funnel and bucket to let the water drain in to but seems yall figured it out.. Seeing little Lad looking through the hole was precious. Ok... the ending.... well... there just arent words.. LOL. Great job yall. I was dying!!
Ok, that ending was too funny. Y’all are a pair. Truly the two of you were chosen for each other before the foundations of this earth by our Messiah himself. …and your daughter is like the perfect “straight man” to y’all’s antics. She takes everything in such beautiful stride and grace. Our Lord bless all three of you.
What a great video. Aren't you glad for the ability to adapt to changes as needed, for example the original plan for the corner sink was okay, but the sink you ended up with is absolutely gorgeous. Always look forward to seeing what you are going to do next.😊
I think you know exactly what you’re doing because it looks just like my video of what I’d do and I can’t admit in writing that I wouldn’t be fully prepared either lol
Both of you have done an amazing job on that Bathroom as well as plumbing the Sink in, those Pipes and as well those Taps which by the way look really cool. And a nice performance at the end to go with it ha ha ha. Take Care. Barry (ENG)
Hi Lydia and Jim, great to see you today! I loved the opening scene with the deer out back. That would certainly be a great start to any day. Lydia, it's rare to see you with your hair down and freely flowing like you had at the beginning in the BetterHelp spot. Your hair is beautiful and it's clear why little Ladly is so cute ... no offense Jim 😉. Jim, great job getting the sink installed and hooked up. Your scene at the end made me laugh out loud. Thanks for a fun vid. You guys have a great week ahead. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
Nice Jim, I have heard of that hole saw trick but never saw it actually work. I would have been going crazy having to sit there plugging the hose... Love the sink and faucets ❤ y'all did an awesome job on this project 👏! 👏
Well it all came together nicely! I don't know how many times I have had a fitting "blend" in with the background...it happens. Who wore it better?! Getting snow here in Chicagoland tonight.
Jim, I've been in the exact position you were in with the water line leaking after it's been cut and I started to measure for my PEX. Thought everything was good until it wasn't! This video made me laugh so much! You guys keep up the great work!
Totally wild!!! But I like it, just the kinda humor I need, when that towel came off with that hat on backwards...I choked on my coffee... This South Mississippi wild man loves the Cajun Humor!!!👍👍👍😎💣
Too Funny!! How long did it take to find the last compression ring? Ladly is looking way too cute with her wheels and bracelet 🙂. I love it, its one of a kind !! The bathroom is looking marvelous and just stunning.
Well Jim, I was going to say you're a genius with that hole saw trick, *_but_* you lost that title with the "missing" Pex connectors... 🤣 Lydia, you shouldn't have said anything! You should've made him sit there with his thumb on the hole until he figured it out! 😅 Meanwhile, call his brother and tell him you're all set! 😂 (sorry, Jim!) Oh my goshhhhh! How many times did you have to film that skit?! I would've died laughing (and I did)! Lydia, you really held it together!! 😂 Jim, on the other hand, couldn't do it! 🤣😂🤣 That was *too* funny!! 😆
That bathroom is looking good, guys, but I just gotta know… How many times did you have to shoot that last scene without either one of you busting out laughing??? 😂😂😂😂
Aww, Ladley is getting so big! 😍 That was a lot of work on getting everything hooked up. Jim holding that water in was cracking me up 😂. The important thing is that you got it done 😉. Loved the ending 🤣🤣🤣
Hey Jim, that was very ingenious of you placing the smaller holesaw inside of the larger holesaw. The bathroom looks absolutely amazing! Sincerely, the old Montana cowboy, Frank Scherping❤😂😂
