This is a great video! I've stayed at Secrets Maroma twice before (August 2023 & 2024) and loved it - we will be visiting Playa Blanca in a Preferred Ocean View Swim Out room in August 2025. You're right about the lack of privacy for the bathroom, the bathrooms are more private at Maroma - the doors are solid and the entrance to the bathroom is to the side by the door to the room (where the wardrobes are in your video at Playa Blanca). I absolutely know my husband will be making me sit out on the balcony when we wants to use the toilet, he hates limited privacy - somethings are best left unknown (lol). I guess I will be using the hot tub when I'm banished from the room! At Maroma there isn't a separate Preferred Club pool so it's great to see that there is one here attached to the Preferred Club, that means my husband can sit in the shade, have a drink and read as he's not a sun worshiper, whilst I sunbathe, without having to walk off somewhere completely different which he did at Maroma. The extra cubby hole that you mentioned in the wardrobe is actually a privacy portal where you can have room service delivered without the staff having to come in and disturb you - such a cool idea!
This is an incredibly good resort, the pools look very nice. I hope you enjoyed it. The only thing I don't like is the bathroom because there is no privacy, I had something similar in Dubai and that is a big minus for me. Thank you for sharing your beautiful experience with us!
Oh my! I don’t know how I would feel about the bathroom being able to see through the door. It’s great if you are by yourself. But not so good if traveling with others unless you just don’t care 😂. Otherwise, such a wonderful room!
Love all the tubs you have to soak in!!! ❤❤❤ I’d use the outside one all the time too. The I sense is a super cool touch and hydrotherapy included???!!!! Sign me up! Daniel, at the end of the video seems like an amazing asset to the resort. Cheers to those whom make a great stay better! 🥂
I really like the seating areas in this room. I hate when the room doesn't have seating or a usable table. I think I need to look into this hotel for myself. That balcony looks really great - even a hint of ocean - just a hint but it's there.
What a great place to stay! I love the bath. Even with the lack of privacy... Mosquito Repellent might be really good out there. Yes, absolutely a good place to stay! 😊
