Average rider vs 1st loop of Koa Mauna hard enduro

Fun day at Kahuku Motocross trails. My friend Hunter and I were just putting around some hills in the morning. I ran into some guys I know who are way better than me and decided to follow them down the first loop of the IRC Koa Mauna hard enduro race. Pretty challenging for me! Insane watching the pros rip through this like its nothing. GoPro Died when it actually got rougher in the river bed. Better it wasn't filmed as I was walking most of the way 😂

The brother with the yamaha did anything gearing wise just curious cause was wondering if I should change gearing on my 23 yz250?

He got that bike second hand from a guy who set it up for the trails, I am pretty sure it is geared down on the back sprocket... I know lots of guys gear down the KTMs but I'm not too familiar with the YZs. Probably good to gear down though, lots of high end zap on those!
