She was just on rte radio there and is 95% blind even then. The director managed the cameras for her movement in rehearsals. No one knew she was blind

Quite a pedigree behind this one. Brendon Graham, the songwriter, would layer write Ireland’s two most recent Eurovision winners (94 and 96) while arranger Bill Whelan would later compose the score to Riverdance.

If it's any consolation, the composer/lyricist Brendan Graham won in 1994 (Rock 'n roll kids) and 1996 (The Voice) instead. :)

At the time she wasn't blind yet, she had and has an eye condition that slowly would impact on her sight. She became blind later in life.
