Finally, we don't have to spend like a whole minute just to type in the level ID. We can just give levels to each other by name, and type it in to play. THE SEARCH SYSTEM IS FUCKING BETTER THAN MARIO MAKER.

you can only put 1 boss in your level, try to put more and the older one is deleted
You can use teleporters everywhere to drop them straight into the boss room.

Just downloaded this. It will be a nice change of pace from Super Mario Maker. Hopefully it will stay available for a while. MM is one of my favorite series that has been dormant for a while.

As someone who’s played mega man way too much, I gotta say, your level is pretty mega man esc.
Re; Enhanced and new weapons. The pink kick is Charge Kick from Mega Man 5. I also saw Top Spin from Mega Man 3 in that list. The rotating skulls is probably Skull Shield for Mega Man 4 (coloring doesn't seem right to me). And the Hexagon thing was a new weapon for this game called "Shine".

but im almost 100% sure that you cant use top spin to hop on enemies in m3 and you can use charge kick in the air in m5.
Zämi So the level was called enhanced and new weapons. It was showcasing the new capabilities in Mega Maker. I'm not sure what's different about the Skull Shield, and the level creator seems to have missed the new tornado weapon.
I also don't recall the Star Shield giving you Star Man gravity in MMV. But if that's an enhancement, the level creator also missed it.

For a fan made game this is really really cool
I hope to see some classic levels remade as well and maybe a Metroid inspired level designs.
I often wanted to fight some of the robot masters simultaneously with others which was seen in the Mega Man cartoon. Like Air Man with Ice Man, Cut Man with Guts Man, Spark Man with Gemini Man and Gyro Man, Wave Man with Dive Man... pretty much every single battle in the show realized in video game form.
Oh my ogddddd I haven't been able to play a megaman game since childhood, and even then I had very limited exposure. This could be amazing!

Those portal things around 9:15 first appeared in Mega Man 9. I remember the hell of Galaxy Man's stage with those.

I've never been a fan of the original mega-mans, but I'm glad that more "Maker" games are being made. A game that keeps on because of the community. I'm glad this exists.

Makes me wonder why more old 2D games haven't released a "Maker" type game. Seems like it would be relatively easy for developer's. I want a donkey Kong maker, contra maker, Pac man maker, castlevania maker etc etc

Kalahatze Well I was thinking of the original Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. I think it'd be pretty simple just need a start and a finish with random path and obstacles in between

Foontendo some of these games actually had in game level editors to make it easier for the game designers- kirby NES had one, I think. There are a ton of in-house tools that will probably never be released
Foontendo sorry for a late comment but, I feel having whatever Maker game for all of these a great market for fans and the developers. It could really help keep the old 2D platforming of old games that haven't had a game out in years alive. Whatever game it is if you add the "maker" aspect to it would make it sell greatly. Mega maker looks great. I would hope that in updates that they would at least add the X series at least X1-X4. Maybe Zero and ZX series or at least level design. But, that would take a long time to add.

it's very much still around, and the community is active. still gets major updates with lots of content every few months

Just by the way, if anyone wants to find this, as searching RYU will give a MESS of levels now, the code is 84. if you go to mic under search you can search by ID, just type in 84 and you'll have RYU 1

I'm pretty sure the air sliding with the charge kick is a reference to a rom hack called Rockman 5 Air Sliding, which is exactly what it sounds like

Made a Mega Maker level you may find engaging, "Damage Boost". More Mario than Mega Man (no shooting required), but it's got some pretty precise platforming. Best description is probably a Kaizo College for damage boosting in Mega Man.

17:10 You could make some col boss fights with the damage boost concept if the thing you have to shoot was up behind Metal Man and gotta work your way to the top and shoot it or just to get shots on him.

uploading in Mario maker and this should be you can beat the level using the checkpoints, then u play from each check point (still allowing u to use other checkpoints) to make sure it's possible

-Topsy Turvey Water Works (Based on the top power and water)
-Charge Kick Fu (Based on the charge kick ability, possibly the hardest of my levels)
-Mega Maker Red Coins (My way of making red coins in mega maker)
-Mega Mans Murderous Mountain Metal Massacre (Baically enemy spam but it was still pretty fun to play and make)
