You would have to try and put MAME right onto the device itself rather than use the device with MAME I think. It looks like it already has some NES games in the classic games list so it has emulators on it already.
Or perhaps develop the callibration, skip the 8 bit games if they can't fix that and sell it as a new version. I think this has more potential then all the bad emulator hardware we see on the market, and this channel.
I think this is one of the best products you have reviewed for some time. It looks cool, it works good (except for the old games of course). You made me curious to buy this.
it's sad that they limited themselves to these old games - they could have gone the android tv route and made a public SDK available for unity3d, then it could become it's own niche thing

Because it’s using a cheap gyro like the Wii-remote, which is also why his aim wavers. It’s also why the few light gun games on Switch don’t work very well because they simply use the gyro in the controllers and require constant recalibration vs some some of IR tracking.
I've purchased a gamepad that looks like the ones you got (only mine is really awful quality), they were selling it as a presentation and vr controller. It would be nice if they sold that gun as a cheap standalone controller for pc emulation.

It doesn't havce to be perfect, just accurate enough, compatible with the existing libraries (as in, being a mouse equivalent) and plug&play.
This thing is basically the same tech as the Wii remote - a gyro or two, which is also why it requires the recalibration. The Sinden works well because it uses IR emitters and places a colored border around the content to precisely locate shots. That’s also one reason it’s more expensive, and I can’t see Chinese companies using a system like that when it’s far cheaper to place a gyro in a cheap plastic shell and call it a day.

Another one of these Wii type of knockoff with homebrew games that really aren't that fun. The homebrew games are like the Wii sports knockoff on a Super cheap budget to makes these games.

My guess is they will have this on mame one day as there always adding these softwares to mame anyway and making them playable for emulation

I'm surprised light gun works well, usually those light gun console that wasn't played on CRT TV didn't work or just plain sucks.

When you calibrate the light gun, on second step I can not see you move your gun to aim upper right corner of screen. But why its still worked?

You weren't calibrating it correctly. It was showing you a calibration point at top right corner
Try'd that 10 times sometimes it go's out ot calibration.
