BF4 is actually a bit better. The AA is op and the maps are not air friendly (if you aren't a good jet pilot) but weapons especially recall is way better in bf4. Much more skill needed. In bf3 you literally kill people instantly

I love that Battlefield 3 still has a somewhat active playerbase. It just shows that despite its age, it has the quality and character to maintain players after all this time.
I put in 400 hrs on xbox 360 until it died, then built a PC in 2013. I still get to play Metro 64 literally every day, any day since then, and now there are even more servers!
And yet newer BF games were designed more around "Battlefield Moments" than anything else... Nobody gives a shit about "levolution" or having tonnes of jets, or a behemoth that can crash and burn. Something as simple as well animated rubble almost killing you from a building, something emergent, us enough.

If you’re not having any “battlefield moments” it’s because you haven’t freaking played the game right. I dont care what anyone says, BF3 and BF4 are fantastic but BF1 was a whole new experience with a cinematic touch that showed us just how intense battlefield can be. I Played bf3 few days ago after a long time and everything feels just amazing. The sound, the quick revives and rejoins, the surpression, the wapons, the ambient.. I literary had an adrenaline rush that ive been missing with all the curent modern games.

Hands down the best Sandbox shooter EVER made!! Dice outdid themselves with this game and it is a testament to the game play and experience that you can still go in and find games full and populated. The birth place of C4 trucks and 4 wheelers, the mad dash to get the little bird, and rolling in with the Abraham. Just mad fun!!

What the fuck about it needs a remaster? It sounds, looks and plays better than any modern FPS game. By quite a margin. Playing BF3 now makes me wonder why anyone else plays any other modern FPS. COD Warzone feels like such a piece of turd in comparison I uninstalled it.

Best Battlefield Game ever made. Just the atmosphere and dynamic of the game. You'd have rounds in which the battle shifted from one part of the map to the other, everything was far more well balanced. The Maps were well designed and you'd generally have the feeling of playing as part of a team that's pushing their way throughout the map. So many good memories. It just felt awesome when you defended a flag a literally the entire enemy force tried to take it from you, picking you off one by one, destroying that one abrams you had and just when you thought you lost the flag you see that apache flying over your head launching it's missiles while it's gunner is picking of enemy players. I sunk so many hours into BF3. Thousands of them.. just for those moments. Those moments I thought everyone meant when they talked about "Battlefield Moments", but they didn't. Nowadays Dice is just trying to shove down everyones throats what they perceive as what Battlefield should be, instead of giving Players the Tools to modify the Game to fit their personal tastes. I don't like 64 Players, never have. I don't like Chaos or being spawned just to die two seconds later. I always liked 32 or 48 Player Servers with limited Vehicle Respawns and some other bits and pieces tweaked in the server settings. But I don't think we'll ever get that back..

They were my go-to infantry maps on BF3. Spent ages trying to get that Rambo dogtag.

This was the first game ever to introduce me to multiplayer back when i had a PS3. used to play it day and night, best battlefield IMO.
"Pudge" is softer than "Chonk" and they are fairly size independant. It's less about their mass and more about their density.
