This video is a new take on the very fist drawing tutorial I posted on TH-cam. Although I looove plants, I just couldn't stand the old tutorial anymore, so here's an updated (and hopefully improved!) version of it!
These digital watercolor monstera leaves can be drawn individually or as part of a big monstera plant. In just a few minutes, you can create elegant art for your home, stunning stationery, lovely greeting cards, and eye-catching social media content.

Loving your videos! I am learning so much. Question...why do we use multiply?
That's a really good question, I should explain it a bit more in my videos!
Basically, multiply blends the color of the sketch layer with the layers below it, making the sketch darker in the areas where there's color below. I tend to use multiply + lowered opacity so that the sketch is mostly out of the way when on white, yet still shows nicely on colored sections.
Does that make any sense at all? Haven't had my tea yet, not sure if my brain is working properly haha

I bought ‘a few of your brushes packages. The paper textures (watercolor paper) uploaded to my gallery. I can only access them from there and they don’t fill my screen. I also can only use them once and have to go back to files on my iPad to export it again to procreate. In my layers box, I don’t have the “textures layer” like your video shows. Am I doing something wrong? I adore the brushes. I am amazed at how realistic they are to real watercolors. Just hoping for some help on the papers.
I’m having trouble with the “salt” brush in the your Ultimate watercolor brush set showing up on my piece as I am following along 😩

Does anyone know how to make the “feathering” only feather inside the lines? It keeps going outside of the lines unless I use alpha lock and then when I open up the hue/saturation it deselects and edits the entire layer. HELLLP

Got stuck at the layer mask for the first vein on the leaf. I can see that I’m making marks on that layer in the layer menu but nothing is changing on my actual drawing…help, please?
