  • These simple elegant fish hook earrings are transforming into some minimalist glam babes. And I’ll be showing you how to make both in this video.
    Fish Hook earrings are very minimalist and trendy. Its basic shape could lead to a different kinds of styles easily, so this video is part one and I’ll be doing another transformation in part 2 the following week.
    Happy Making! :)
    ****************************************************************************
    Here are the materials and tools that I use and the options you could have.
    Material that I used:
    1. 20g round brass wires- Cut into your 18CM OR your own measurement. (Instruction in the video)
    (You could also use artistic wire, copper, silver, aluminum, or gold-filled wires if you like.)
    2. Black Jet Rectangle stone, center drilled. - 2pcs - Find similar here: amzn.to/3sPWPiG
    3. 3mm 14k Goldfilled accent beads. 4 pcs - Find similar here: amzn.to/3x1lFO3
    (Do check your beads' drilled hole sizes before making)
    Tools:
    1. Side cutter/Flush cutter- Find similar here: amzn.to/3MoVG9E
    2. Nylon hammer- Find similar here: amzn.to/3PfLkuq
    3. Triangle file- Find similar here: amzn.to/3Lv11L4
    4. Chasing Hammer- Find similar here: amzn.to/39noHUD
    5. Metal Block- Find similar here: amzn.to/3lik8gJ
    6. Chain Nose/Rhine Nose Pliers- Find similar here: amzn.to/3MfTHo7
    7. Plastic Bottle
    This DIY project is well manageable, IF you are using a different size bottle the following measurements in the video could only be of guidance. You may need to experiment and adjust those measurements.

    Hi, you cut 18 cm for each. Trimming quiet allot to get the shape.
    If using real sliver or gold field it's such a waste to trim that much.
    There's a ways to save on the wire end still get the same,
    like it very much. Wants to try silver and gold field. Please advise about the wire lenght.
    Thanks you for sharing with us.

    why do you need to hammer it around the bottle ? Does pushing it not keep the shape?

    • @MaggieCSAtelier
      @MaggieCSAtelier  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, you’d get a better shape hammering than just doing it by hand.

    Thank you!! I bought a pair of earrings like this (but with a small loop on the end with a cute little flower charm), a long time ago at a consignment shop, and they always hurt my ears cause they aren’t sterling so when I first learned how to make my own earrings, I wanted to try to re-create them in sterling but my attempts just would not make earring wire shape right!! It has annoyed me for years lol thanks to this, not only will I be able to use the charm on mine and make some sterling ones, but I have some perfect stone beads I got a while ago that’ll work perfect for this. Thanks for the excellent tutorial!

    How do you get the permanent marker off?

    • @MaggieCSAtelier
      @MaggieCSAtelier  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can polish it off with polishing cloth or just use some nail polish remover to remove them.
