Hercules (marvel) strength class reads "Incalculable" which means no upper limit have been found. In DC comics Hercules knocks Superman (who was not holding back) into space out cold (unconscious) with just one punch. Superman needed the help of Shazam, Wonder Woman to beat Hercules. Both Hercules of marvel universe and DC universe are the same strength levels. Also DC universe is small compared to marvel. Most of there cosmic events is always on Earth because of how small that universe is. If Superman came to Marvel universe. He would be just above average when compared to other heroes......Silver Surfer(increases strength at will among too many powers to list), Sentry, Blue Marvel, Gladiator (who doesn't need a yellow star and have torn apart black holes with his bare hands) Hulk, Thor, Hercules, Black Bolt, Hyperion (the one that held two universes apart and tanked the destruction of his universe plus he's smarter than a super computer ). That's just for starters. The reason superman wins in cross overs is because they always do fan votes which isn't fair since he has been out longer so more people know him.
Are you kidding? Doc Sampson is nowhere near the strength level of any of the individual Avengers here yet he seems to hold his own. Wonderman (even after fighting the Hulk) should have flattened Sampson. I guess it depends on who the writer is every single time.
The first time I didn't like the ocmic because the lack of Avengers teamwork, Captain america or the West Coast Hawkeye were seriusly needed to call the shots. But years later, I didn't like the idea of heroes battling Hulk, so I liked it more and with "World War Hulk" that showed heroes lame in front of the Hulk, I liked it even more. Great story line.
There is one person that can stop the Hulk. And has done it before. The Watcher is our man!!! The Watcher from a distance of millions of light years away can see the Hulk. From that distance he can remove all the gamma rays from his body causing him to turn back into Bruce Banner and never turn into the Hulk ever again!!! Unfortunately, as Bruce was joyfully planning on marrying Betty Ross and living a peaceful normal life ... He finds that the Mole Men have kidnapped Betty. He then exposes himself to gamma rays again. Turns into the Hulk again and rescues Betty!!!

Ridiculous to see this as a competitive fight. All four of them are 70-90% as strong as the Hulk, so together they are would enjoy more than three times as much power, leaving plenty of leftover strength no matter how angry greenie would get.
The Hulk was separate from banner here and so got angrier, more durable and stronger more quickly than usual. In similar marvel stories, a hero going on the rampage always gets a bit of a boost above normal anyway for plot-purposes.

If this were true, you need to explain the gazillion times he has been taken to the limit by the Thing, Thor, Hercules, the Submariner, the Rhino, the Abomination, Thanos, Juggernaut, etc. In the Avengers/Defenders battle over the Evil Eye (?), Hulk was as enraged as he has ever been when Thor brutally pounded him. Looking at the Hulk's twisted face, Thor even admitted to himself "By my troth, I have driven him berserk. Not but my death will satisfy him know." Then they locked arms for three hours with neither able to finish the other off. What is your explanation? That Hulk wasn't angry enough to annihilate Thor, much less Thor, Submariner, Wonderman and Hercules? The kind of strength you are asserting would suck any drama out of Hulk's story, because he would be able to stomp any number of Marvel characters at once, Galactus with his pinkie.
I have this comic, the 3 before it and two after it. This is an epic battle, however, it is not the particular story (comic#) I'm looking for. ... I wonder if anyone on here could help me find the story I'm looking for? The one I speak of is in this same comic series (i think not sure) but definitely the same era... in said story, Hulk is battling the same characters plus powerman, and Thor too. They somehow trap him inside a like 6 foot thick adamantium dome at the end of one of the comics and are waiting for him to die. The next issue they hear a low rumble getting bigger, then he busts the dome into tiny fragments and explodes out like 2 times his normal size and super, super pissed! He hits Thor and sends him on a trip across the world. He hits wonderman & drives him deep down into the earth's mantle so hard that wonderman's eyes stop glowing. He mops up iron man and the rest like rag dolls and hounds off into the air. I only got to read it once at my cousin's house when I was like 12 or 13. I have not been able to find it since. Anyone have any clue which issue this is please contact me. Thanks.
And? Marvel has ALWAYS said that Hulk is faster than his size and build would lead you to believe. That's nothing new. It STILL doesn't mean that Hulk has true super speed. Show me Hulk doing something like building a complicated machine, reading a book, having a conversion, cooking a meal, running cross-country, etc. at super speed - and not only at super speed, but near or at light speed - and then you'll have proven something. But that will never happen, so I won't hold my breath. Hulk DOESN'T have true super speed, and he's NOWHERE NEAR as fast as someone like Superman. Not even in the same solar system in terms of speed. As far as the limitless rage thing goes, Hulk was separated from Banner. All there was to him was his "Hulkness". That was a unique situation that does NOT normally apply to Hulk. So long as Hulk and Banner are one, Hulk's rage is NOT limitless, and therefore, neither is his strength. Hulk owned these Avengers because not a one of them is even close to Superman in terms of power. Superman would've crushed Hulk EASILY.
I read Hulk since the day I could read (we were born the same year lol) and I can say this is the lowest point, worst story line I can remember. I haven't read it in probably ten years though, but from some of the videos I've seen on here there have been some recent stinkers.
