A quick and dirty washup on a low buck fun cruiser. That old Cougar was really not that bad, but between the trunk, lower rear quarter, doors and wheel arch damage, it really would need a full on body job and respray to look pristine. And not many would invest that effort into one of those. But it was fun to get to see one up close, and cars like that are fun, you don't care if they get scratched, you can set your tools on the fender if working on it and not care. Mint cars are cool, but usable beaters are way better to live with and have fun with.
Thats pretty cool car. I had a 70 couger & thats probably my favorite car ever. They were on the mustang platform back then. By 76 I believe they were on the thunder bird chassis. Ive had my day being chased by them cops! Im through with them pigs. They can get a hobbie & leave my ass alone! Damn tyrants!
