Give tips on finding different food sources throughout the year, also tips on hanging and shooting out of a saddle otherwise keep up the awesome videos. Mitchell Pisarzewski
My name is Justin. Would be good to see detailed videos showing how to approach getting into a mountain hunt setup close enough on buck bedding to have a shot without spooking it out.
GREAT CONTENT! The visual portion is vital for me. As a suggestion, how about a deep dive into all things hubs. Thermal hubs, travel hubs, hub scrapes, ETC. Is there such a thing as a hub rub? If not there should be just because its fun to say: Hub Rub...
Dennis Bennett..... I would like to see some videos on different types of terrain. I like how you do multiple videos on one type of terrain with different guys to get multiple opinions. .........Keep doing what you guys are doing.
Barrett Negus. River Bottom scouting preferably southeast (delta) if you can find someone. AR, MS, LA Love the work you guys are doing. Keep up the hard work. Maybe follow up on some of these cameras postseason or if any of these in session scouting trips paid off.
Evan, MN, I’d like to see some more tactics on in season scouting and what you look for when you are at a new spot in season whether that’s early, rut, or late because I know tactics change throughout but to each their own. Thanks!
Matt M, most of this is finding the scrape and showing that, but then a guy mentioned the tree I picked is over there and it’s an after thought for the video. Do a video on that as part of it which tree and why
By far you guys have the best scouting sessions I have seen on TH-cam. Your break downs and layouts of how you're choosing to setup and your understanding of deer behavior and best winds to choose to hunt that specific deer. you guys break it all down in a way that everyone can relate to. Thanks for sharing and keep those sessions coming!!
Guy's thanks for the whitetail hunting tips i just started watching Latitude Outdoors and like the ways you walkabout in the wood's and explain with map drawings as you talk. Something i would like you to make a walk through the woods video on is the reasons a buck rubs his antlers from the time he removes his velvet to the time he sheds his antlers i see rubs from year to year but don't know the reasons for why and when they were done ? Im trying to get all the right stuff together so i can saddle hunt this year the old Summit climbing tree stand is to awkward and heavy now that i'm 64 Thanks Marty
Wendell Stoltzfus….Awsome content guys this is great info for anyone trying to kill mature buck on public land! A suggestion for next years In Session would be for Jake Bush and Dan Infult from The Hunting Beast to meet up and do some scouting on new ground that none of them have been on. And basically just brake it down from finding a new piece of public land to finding a perfect setup and kill tree.
Ray Pollum, PA This is a great series that can apply to anyone and everyone! I really enjoy watching them and learning from all types of hunters to help develop my own strategy! Keep it up!
Isaiah Sattelmaier In my opinion this is the most informative bowhunting teaching series I have watched for hill country. In the series next spring, it would be interesting to see what Jake Bush would do if he only had one trail camera to use to target a specific buck. Once he knows that the buck is in fact Inhabiting the suspected area, Where is he placing this one camera to gain the most Intel that is useful towards killing that deer on the first sit.
Marcus Russell here! I think a good video for next spring would be some more detailed information on how to know thermal winds and how to remain scentless while hunting those situations.
Dwight here, a cool show would be to do an overview of thermals and how they influence set ups. I know it is briefly talked about in multiple shows but to actually see example maps with topography and how the thermals would react during times of day would be great. Us guys from the flat lands down south can get lost when we come up to the hills for out of state hunts.
Joey M here, awesome series with some great take aways! I would like to see something possibly on different types of food sources and when to specifically target those food sources. Hot acorn trees, etc. keep up the good work!
Jeremy Wills. I’d like to see when multiple topography features are in an area, how that influence tactics. Ex: A mix of hill country and farmland (not 100% hill country and not 100% flat farmland, but a mix of both, influencing hunting strategy so you have to blend the two thought processes for an overall hunting strategy)
Chango Pearce, I live in mid western PA. We have a lot of rolling hill country here. You guy point out alot of great stuff to help guys out. Most definitely help me out!! Would love to see scouting for deer that made it through the season to finding him and patering him for the next season.
Kirk Loos. I would really like to see a video explaining the topo map and how you guys read them and what you are looking for with some examples. A lot of people glance over it but without going into detail.
Levi Prater, This by far has been the best scouting and terrain feature video that I have found on TH-cam. Next year I would like to see this same style content but in terrain from the south east, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, for reference. It is nice to see how the bucks move in the hilly terrain but for sure is different here in the south with flat and a monoculture of pine trees. Thank you for the awesome video and the knowledge from the guys you vided with.
Chad Smith. I speed scout large areas to find as many escape routes a buck will likely take to get away from people. Then I look for areas where those routes cross each other. It gives me more chances at different bucks without so much worry of blowing a mature buck out of his core area with one or two mistakes.
Hey guys, my name is Caleb R. I have recently gotten into y'all's videos. Hopefully the things y'all talk about I can apply to my strategies and become more successful! I would love to see more about scouting by using maps and topography. Also, it would be interesting to do a follow up were you have videos hunting the spots you scout, maybe you do, and I haven't found them yet! Thanks again for the information and scouting tactics.
Nate Bennett. Love In Session but some of it looks to be done in hindsight on properties you know or have hunted in the past and understand. Just an idea, but would like to see it done in a format to show a brand new property and how you break it down during spring, then show the hunt in the fall to prove your theories were correct or if something changed, what was done to adapt. Successful or not. Would also like to see you explain more about thermals and how they function in different terrains not just hill country. Keep the wealth of knowledge spilling into the hunting community. Soaking it up here. Appreciate it. 🤯
Hey guys! My name is Corey Livingston. Could you do some a video on when you are e-scouting for an out of state hunt and you’ve never laid eyes on the land, what would draw you to a particular area.
Max from Michigan here. Been running the Method 2 for the last couple years and its put some of largest bucks down to date. Would love to see how each member of the latitude crew has their mobile rig set up with modifications. Happy velvet season!
Richard Cummings These videos gave me the visual by using maps. I spend lots of time staring at maps and theses sessions confirmed what I was listening to on podcasts. I love Beau Martonik and the East meets West podcast. I really appreciate you showing the map and labeling what you’re finding. I find these very similar landmarks when I scout and it’s nice to see someone put the puzzle together for me. I need to see/learn more about my access to the tree. Last season taught me the value of patience, high wind, or rain helping with access. Thanks a ton Jake! Love the content.
Love what you guys do! I live in Florida and hunt Southern Illinois and seen to land where it’s flatter. I would love to learn how to find bedding areas using maps in these areas.
More tactics on how not to get busted by doe’s we hunt fairly heavily populated by doe’s areas and wind is usually swirling around 70% of the time Thanks David Fleer ✌🏻👍🇺🇸
Dylan . I’m a visual learner so thanks for adding topography maps to the video. I hunt in the mountains and I would like to see a in-depth breakdown of wind mapping for mountain buck hubs. Safe plays to be able to hunt a hub more than once. When do you get out , when do you stay, how and when to access in the morning. Leave when the thermal pulls up if you access from bottom , wait until the thermal pulls up at grey light then access? I know it’s all situational but it might help people if we get that visual description under different circumstances. ( Do deer run circuits? I have always been told if you see a buck today he won’t be back until he walks his circuit which could be days ).
Katie, PA. I've really been enjoying the podcast and the videos for the visual aspect. I hunt the Allegheny National Forest and in my particular area it is all big woods without any ag. A lot of the areas are fairly flat on the plateau with slight elevation changes and no oak trees. I'd love to see some videos on similar areas. Thanks for all the great content ya'll are putting out!
Great video. Where I live it's a lot of flatland and no ag. Seems like most videos cover ag and hill country. Would love to see some videos on what to key in on in flatland habitat
Michael Athey, Loving this Latitude In Session Videos! I would love to see some content the setup process to be most efficient getting up the tree and ready to hunt
My name is Adam, I'd like to see an in-depth discussion on the j-hook. Never heard anyone provide any level of detail and cant find a single video or good article discussing it. Your visually mapping and movement patterns could be greatly beneficial to all. Thanks in advance!
Bradd Kreider, great show & info! I really like how u guys use the topo maps and show exactly what your explaining and doin! I would like to see an episode in south central pa, we have alot of mountain terrain surrounded by ag
Joe Spatola, TN. I would love to see more of the thought process on finding big bucks on public. I love the thought process you all put in to find the “Kill tree” for specific bucks. Keep it absolutely awesome!
Dylan King, come back to NJ and do some bigger (for NJ) pieces with little elevation change and lots of oaks. Maybe even a PIne Barrens scouting episode.
Joe Bartol, VA. Would like to see videos on hunting relatively flat land timber stands like in Eastern, Va. There is a good mix of agg and woods here with river systems connected but everything is super flat for the most part. There really aren’t super good terrain features to key in on and I would be looking to see what kind of tips and tricks someone might have for very flat, but wooded areas.
Great Work so far fellas! You’ve done well covering a variety of information that anybody can take little bits and pieces and apply it to their own situation. I’d be interested in seeing some examples of overlooked hunting spots and how you might locate them. Is it micro terrain features that you can barely see on the map, is it spots close to access that people might ignore? Or is it all things you find by putting boots on the ground? -Matt Petras
Colby Swope I feel like an idiot for not thinking of taking a picture with my phone to check camera placement. Great series that would fit the Arkansas mountains as well.
This is Kelly, these videos have been super helpful. I love seeing you mark stuff on the tooo maps. It really helps me to visualize how your guys brains work. Has helped me to break down some pieces while E-scouting. I would love to see a video of how to pick THE tree, and how you like to set up on it. Like how high, or what cover you look for.
My name is Ben Vandenberge, love what you guys are doing with these in sessions! Would love to see a video done in the northern big woods of Wisconsin !
Matt Grieger. I’d like to see some tips on how to pinpoint spots that mature bucks prefer. I hunt public land. Mostly small parcels. I have yet to see a mature buck during the hunting season. What spots should I be looking for to locate mature bucks over young bucks
Would love to see you guys break down your approach to killing a public land velvet buck in a mixed ag and high pressure area… are you avoiding field edges? Do you target scrapes? -Collin
Great video as always! My name is Eric Wolbert . Would like to see how u tackle small wood lots surrounded by Ag. And heavy hunting pressure like here in northern Pennsylvania!Or hunting River and creek bottoms! Thanks
Southern hunting tactics if we don’t have the big woods like you guys. I’m out of Tx and Ok mostly with not much rolling hills. I have a hard time finding bedding and food sources.
Barry Martin I would like to see a start to finish meaning from a scouting trip right through you guys hunting those areas you picked out to setup on and show how you made out ! Thank You !
This has been a great series, looking forward to more great content. Keep up the good work. Something to consider is taking this early season scouting and showing the progression into summer and the fall hunting season with the scout spots you have found!
John Meyer. It would be awesome to see a video on scouting terrain that is mixed ag/big woods with little to no elevation change. Central/southern Michigan. What catches your eye right off the bat, what type of sign is enough to set up on, and how much hunter sign is too much. Love the podcast and everything you guys put out! Keep it up 👍🏼
Cyle Kowalski - Would love to see how you decipher scrapes in relation to bedding on top of ridges in hill country (in thick cover) if there are no hub scrapes down in the bottom. Thanks!
My name is Logan Bubb. I mostly hunt in the big woods of northcentral PA. I think it would be interesting to see how you guys would approach similar situations on vastly different terrains. For example, hunting bedding in hill country vs bedding in big woods plateau with little terrain.
Daniel Cowell. I would really like to have at least a short portion of a video describing exactly what you do if you hear a wheeze. Does that mean you're busted and time to leave? Also, if you hear a grunt, what your mindset is. Thanks and great videos!
Thanks for watching and following along this spring!

Great videos! I would love to see more of this next year. Maybe talk more about hill country without the ag fields in the bottoms

Barrett Negus.
River Bottom scouting preferably southeast (delta) if you can find someone. AR, MS, LA

Tyler Woodside, TN I would love to see from the beginning of the scouting all the way through to the kill in the south (TN) lol
Charles Gholson. I would like to see a video on public land river bottom tactics.
Evan, MN, I’d like to see some more tactics on in season scouting and what you look for when you are at a new spot in season whether that’s early, rut, or late because I know tactics change throughout but to each their own. Thanks!
Walter Brown. I'd be interested in seeing a combined video going from map scouting, scouting in person and culminating in the hunt itself.
Alex Gingerich. I'd like to see a video on Jake's "wind mapping".
Ted Wisniewski - cattail marsh bedding
Ken Bowen. Keep up the good work guys. Great stuff!
Matt M, most of this is finding the scrape and showing that, but then a guy mentioned the tree I picked is over there and it’s an after thought for the video. Do a video on that as part of it which tree and why
Paul, have loved all the content y’all have put out so far. Would love to see you guys pick apart some suburban hunting situations
By far you guys have the best scouting sessions I have seen on TH-cam. Michael Scott full season use of the scouting spots would be awesome. From off season scouting all the way through to a sit/shot/kill.
