At this point, I am pretty convinced that Elune is a member of the "Pantheon of Life". So far, the Titans have been fully identified as the Pantheon presiding over the cosmic force of Arcane. Likewise, the "Eternal Ones" (the Arbiter, the Archon, the Primus, the Winter Queen, and Sire Denathrius) are the "Pantheon of Death". As far as I am aware, the phrase "Pantheon of Death" isn't used in the actual game, but if we think of the Eternal Ones as a Pantheon like the Titans, then it serves that each of the cosmic forces would have its own Pantheon. Thus, the cosmic force of Life would have its own Pantheon, of which I believe Elune is a member, if not the leader.
I thoroughly enjoy all your videos and all the lore in WOW is just crafted so amazingly, you can tell the people that made it really put love and effort into their craft and that's the one thing I honestly do love about blizzard and WoW in general.
I think a drust raid set in ardenweld is in the cards. I think the 3rd patch will be maldraxxas invading or deploying to protect another realm. Maybe we will invade a demonic realm. Maybe we will go protect the area of the shadowlands where inventors and brilliant minds go (was mentioned on a revendreth sin stone) The final raid will be kyrian with Uthers redemption and resolution of everything.

His soul was obliterated. Me and some other people argued with someone in a different chain about it. The books and wiki explain fel consumes the soul in its magics. Utterly destroying them and creating more fel in exchange for the sacrifice. Varian was obliterated like this so his soul was consumed and annihilated in an explosion. Unless they change how fel works Varian is gone. Like forever, forever

Maybe the Jailer once played the role of the Arbiter, and he wants to retake that role and take out any of those that opposed his plan the first time. Or maybe we will visit his former realm that he was ousted from. I’m thoroughly enjoying this expansion. I’ve played more than ever since Legion

i believe you have to gather a certain amount of items in Torghast to unlock them but i could be wrong, i've not played a lot and i'm going based on what people on Reddit have said
I'd say in the next expansion the only thing we have left to do unless they expand on the lore is to rebuild the last titan and find out why the dwarfs went mad at that excavation site.
I'm wondering how many parents and child reunited moments we will see. We just tracked Thrall, so save him in a week (Draka). We already have the Fordragons and Morgrain. I am 50% sure we will see Varian at some point either used to break Anduin or save him. Maybe we will see Cairne and Baine (sp?) Too. I do think it will be overplayed by the end of SL.

How are we going to return the anima that we recovered from Castle Nathria to the other realms? Also, how great was the portion that Denathrius sent to the Maw? Is there enough anima left to end the draught?
Anduin is a great conduit of the light, but he is also mortal and also somewhat fallible, considering during the past expansion, his connection to the light was somewhat questioned through N'Zoth's influence in some way. We've seen characters be torn between the light and the void, so why not the light and death?
There are many portals that lead toone of the many realms in the Shadowlands as we seen in the arrival Cinematic, one of those Realm may become active and will soon be a 5th covenant for us to join.
Elune is also a being of life and death (apparently) so maybe Anduin won't be the weapon, but Tyrande instead. She hasn't been shown much, so it could be a possibility.

If the total amount of anime in the cycle is enough to fuel it, building the current system of the Shadowlands on top of that, a system that requires anima itself to run, will lead to red in the books. This could explain the creatures that hunger for anima, they used to have access to it.

Anduin is going to be the next Lich King. The new Helm of Domination and Frostmourne (or whatever mourneblade the Runecarver made for the jailer) is going to forcefully be put onto Anduin. Arthas was supposed to be the perfect vessel but he was flawed in his use and belief of the light. Anduin, however, is a priest turned Paladin who Sylvanas is basically in love with.

We have no idea how long the Primus has been missing (The Frozen Throne events happened at least 30 years ago in Azeroth time) or how time even works in the Shadowlands. But if the Jailer has used a light wielding super hero on Azeroth to corrupt and use for his own devices (twice if you count Bolvar I suppose) then Anduin is his most perfect vessel. I cannot explain why Sylvanas has show such deference to Anduin over all of this time other than she was ordered by Helya and the Jailer to scout Azeroth for a better Arthas and she found the greatest Arthas who ever lived in a Priest turned Paladin. She took no issue with killing Saurfang in front of everyone; why would she not take the chance to kill Anduin at Lordaeron if not for having a deeper need for him.
This makes sense. Anduin will likely become a future Lich King. Unsure if he will wield the light, or the power of death. I think of the experiments that have been done on the light by Denathrius. What if those experiments were related to learning how to manipulate it for death?
3 different portals not being used in the Ring of Transference. In fact, they are very spread out too so to me it’s a definite. We will see new dimensions in the coming patches. My question would be, what could these places be? Perhaps the brokers realm? The drustvar realm? I’m too excited to think of more need more ideas!!!
I believe by the end of Shadowlands, the Maw will be destroyed along with the Jailer, and all the souls imprisoned there will be liberated. Sylvanas will pay for her crimes in Revendreth, and perhaps one day earn the afterlife Arthas had denied her. Our actions will inspire the covenants to change, and the afterlife will be a more fair and just system because of it.
I hope because there is a gateway between Oribos and Stormwind/Ogrimar that the lessons of the Shadowlands get taught to Necromancers which join the Horde and Alliance!
I’ve been looking at that model of the Jailer from the announcement cinematic and it strikes me as different to the Jailers outline now. The arms look too skinny on the first one and it looks like he still has a crown on in the first one... just a little thing I’ve spotted, probably won’t lead to anything
probably from after you unlock the Twisting Corridors, as we only find signs of Anduin's presence in torghast during the final quest but he's been moved from the tower or something.
I think the void helped him. The Primus mentions ancient allies who are helping him in his efforts to get out of the maw. We know the void attacked the shadowlands in the past. Perhaps The Jailer helped them do it and thats why he was banished.
I have a doubt, correct me if I'm wrong but in Ardenweald aren't the wild gods and other spirits of nature the only souls allowed to be reborn? And isn't the Winter Queen the one who decide who is gonna be reborn and when?
I pictured an invasion on oribos with the jailer & all his forces coming to claim something that the arbiter has. Imagine the jailer looting the arbiters gem from its chest, socketing the gem & becoming something far more than titan++ with untold powers
One thing i can´t make sense of is Sylvannas story in all of this. She killed herself in Wrath of the Lichking after Arthas is defeated because she lost her obsession to kill him etc, and i don´t understand that she would be cast into the Maw at this point she didn´t realy do anything that would call for that. Sure some bad things but at that time she did it not for only herself or for evil sake. So at worst she would come to Revendreth for her Sins and Maldraxxus if deemed she doesnt need to atone for them. It only would make sense if she would come 100% to the maw and could meet the Jailor that way. And at that Time i think the Jailer was still in chains and couldn´t make it so that Sylvannas would come to the maw. Maybe Mueh´zala did this too for he Jailor..? And that " Blizzard: She is not a traitor/bad guy it will make sense " i can´t see right now. All i can see is: she wants to avert her fate and is dooming everybody else for it. She got tricked by the jailor, but then again she still will doom everybody else for herself. An d if she belives in the Jailor and that the system of life and death isnt fair she still does it mostly for herself because she doesnt like her fate in it.
1. I'm aaking myself what Sylvanas wanted to say before holding herself during the conversation with Anduin. It seemed like she wanted to say we can't even choose who we love. But if this would be the case then we would might know a possible reason why she joined the Jalor. Moreover I would ask myself for who Sie all regrets that. 2. I think in the end what Sylvanas said might be true and the Jailor somehow tried to break a circle but the other dudes like the Winter Queen imprisoned him for that cause they do not want to lose their power which they show after we defeated him and let us then fight against them cause Anduin, etc see the Jailor were right and so when we defeat them Arthas becomes one of new keepers of the Shadowlands which would fit his old role of becoming the hero who pretects the people, cause he would somehow save/protect the people's souls.
I think someone in Blizzard spilled some Determinism vs. Free Will in my game. Sylvanas is taking the position of determinism, specifically hard determinism while Anduin is taking the position of libertarian free will.
Maybe Zovaal was the original Arbiter and he let souls decide what they wanted to do in the afterlife, but the council of death turned the afterlife into an anima farm (for some reason).
I think it might be more darker then that. Perhaps he did let people decide but given how the warcraft universe is a cosmic war zone he eventually decided to take over and planned to enslave all the other forces. A rebellion syarted because of what this would entitle and after winning they had to imprison him and the nature of death required them to use anima to do so. In essence the system is an insanely flawed attempt at dealing with a cosmic warlord.
Anduin pros : Have a gentle way to do things Anduin cons : Does not see further than the tip of your nose... Are we indeed not free ? ---> He is maybe ( if it's true ), like an animal in a Zoo Sylvanas cons : Don't value much life ( But I think she value eternity... she don't mind killing... but she won't end a person's Eternity ) Sylvanas Pros : See further than just what seems like Good or Wrong ---> She is like the rebel animal in the Zoo... who wants to tell the others what the reality is I just wanted to say this to put an other point of view of Sylvanas.... And even more : Point flaws in the way of thinking, in the "good" people like Anduin ----------------------------------- And to give an even more Picturated way to see all of this, I will say this : >>> Life on Azeroth is like living in a Zoo.... with the knowledge that when we die : We have the eternity to live outside the Zoo And Sylvanas says that Outside the Zoo is also a world without real choices.... She wants to change that. By saying this : 1) We can see the killing made by Sylvanas with a different approch... Life is not an End... so it has less emotional attach than when we think "Life is All we got" ----> But leaving in a Zoo is a experience that animal can chose, and life this as an good experience.... so ending one's life is violating his right.... even if there is Eternity after that (This is my cons against Syvlanas ways of doing) 2) The good guys, don't see that the Afterlife is not perfect... and a character like Sylvanas is perfect to point out the Flaws in these good guys Even the leader of Kyrian said in a quest : >... (when speaking about erasing the memories of Souls, to become Kyrians) I like the character of Sylvanas because of that ---> And for what is next to happen, I think the good guys will have to change their ways of thinking... thanks to Sylvanas to make it see the flaws... Thanks to the jailer to point out the flaws too... If he has this much power : It's because he is using the flaws in the good guys...
So now that we know how the afterlife works, what is the lore explanation for rising someone into undeath? Are all undeath soulless or does time matter? What about Thoras Trollbane, after all he was dead for several years.

This makes sense. Anduin will likely become a future Lich King. Unsure if he will wield the light, or the power of death. I think of the experiments that have been done on the light by Denathrius. What if those experiments were related to learning how to manipulate it for death?

More like brokers' heads look like Arbiter's. I think brokers are group of people that just happen to be part of the faction in Oribos.
I hope they eventually cover all of the main domains, at the very least to flesh out the lore behind them.

I believe by the end of Shadowlands, the Maw will be destroyed along with the Jailer, and all the souls imprisoned there will be liberated. Sylvanas will pay for her crimes in Revendreth, and perhaps one day earn the afterlife Arthas had denied her. Our actions will inspire the covenants to change, and the afterlife will be a more fair and just system because of it.
I hope because there is a gateway between Oribos and Stormwind/Ogrimar that the lessons of the Shadowlands get taught to Necromancers which join the Horde and Alliance!
How did you get that cinematic between anduin and sylvanas?
I’ve been looking at that model of the Jailer from the announcement cinematic and it strikes me as different to the Jailers outline now. The arms look too skinny on the first one and it looks like he still has a crown on in the first one... just a little thing I’ve spotted, probably won’t lead to anything

Probably from the Torghast campaign, which is currently time-gated
probably from after you unlock the Twisting Corridors, as we only find signs of Anduin's presence in torghast during the final quest but he's been moved from the tower or something.
I think the void helped him. The Primus mentions ancient allies who are helping him in his efforts to get out of the maw.
We know the void attacked the shadowlands in the past. Perhaps The Jailer helped them do it and thats why he was banished.
The void hates death and calls him the enemy of all.
I have a doubt, correct me if I'm wrong but in Ardenweald aren't the wild gods and other spirits of nature the only souls allowed to be reborn? And isn't the Winter Queen the one who decide who is gonna be reborn and when?
I pictured an invasion on oribos with the jailer & all his forces coming to claim something that the arbiter has. Imagine the jailer looting the arbiters gem from its chest, socketing the gem & becoming something far more than titan++ with untold powers
One thing i can´t make sense of is Sylvannas story in all of this. She killed herself in Wrath of the Lichking after Arthas is defeated because she lost her obsession to kill him etc, and i don´t understand that she would be cast into the Maw at this point she didn´t realy do anything that would call for that. Sure some bad things but at that time she did it not for only herself or for evil sake. So at worst she would come to Revendreth for her Sins and Maldraxxus if deemed she doesnt need to atone for them.
It only would make sense if she would come 100% to the maw and could meet the Jailor that way. And at that Time i think the Jailer was still in chains and couldn´t make it so that Sylvannas would come to the maw. Maybe Mueh´zala did this too for he Jailor..?
And that " Blizzard: She is not a traitor/bad guy it will make sense " i can´t see right now. All i can see is: she wants to avert her fate and is dooming everybody else for it. She got tricked by the jailor, but then again she still will doom everybody else for herself. An d if she belives in the Jailor and that the system of life and death isnt fair she still does it mostly for herself because she doesnt like her fate in it.
1. I'm aaking myself what Sylvanas wanted to say before holding herself during the conversation with Anduin.
It seemed like she wanted to say we can't even choose who we love. But if this would be the case then we would might know a possible reason why she joined the Jalor. Moreover I would ask myself for who Sie all regrets that.
2. I think in the end what Sylvanas said might be true and the Jailor somehow tried to break a circle but the other dudes like the Winter Queen imprisoned him for that cause they do not want to lose their power which they show after we defeated him and let us then fight against them cause Anduin, etc see the Jailor were right and so when we defeat them Arthas becomes one of new keepers of the Shadowlands which would fit his old role of becoming the hero who pretects the people, cause he would somehow save/protect the people's souls.
I think someone in Blizzard spilled some Determinism vs. Free Will in my game. Sylvanas is taking the position of determinism, specifically hard determinism while Anduin is taking the position of libertarian free will.
Maybe Zovaal was the original Arbiter and he let souls decide what they wanted to do in the afterlife, but the council of death turned the afterlife into an anima farm (for some reason).
I think it might be more darker then that. Perhaps he did let people decide but given how the warcraft universe is a cosmic war zone he eventually decided to take over and planned to enslave all the other forces. A rebellion syarted because of what this would entitle and after winning they had to imprison him and the nature of death required them to use anima to do so.
In essence the system is an insanely flawed attempt at dealing with a cosmic warlord.
Anduin pros : Have a gentle way to do things
Anduin cons : Does not see further than the tip of your nose... Are we indeed not free ?

Sylvanas cons : Don't value much life ( But I think she value eternity... she don't mind killing... but she won't end a person's Eternity )
Sylvanas Pros : See further than just what seems like Good or Wrong

I just wanted to say this to put an other point of view of Sylvanas.... And even more : Point flaws in the way of thinking, in the "good" people like Anduin

1) We can see the killing made by Sylvanas with a different approch... Life is not an End... so it has less emotional attach than when we think "Life is All we got"
----> But leaving in a Zoo is a experience that animal can chose, and life this as an good experience.... so ending one's life is violating his right.... even if there is Eternity after that

2) The good guys, don't see that the Afterlife is not perfect... and a character like Sylvanas is perfect to point out the Flaws in these good guys

Presumably, yes. We don't know of other dreadlords in light yet, but from the book mentioned, at least one dreadlord has invaded every cosmic force.
Maybe because he is not faking it they can trust him. Like there might be a trigger to make him remember his purpose
