I like this very much. Karsten Wimbush is interpreting the arguments and feelings of the music as if he himself is speaking, especially in the second movement. Sympathetic accompaniment too. Many thanks.
utubemarycrt Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed this recording, especially since there are much fewer accomplished on tenor. I hope to return to this piece again, perhaps with a more polished, studio-like recording.
Great job :) nice to see brazilian classical music get some recognition. Is possible for you to send me the sheet music of this piece if you still have it?
My best advice is long tones. Do your best to start the notes cleanly and hold them out as long as you can and try to keep it clean. You'll struggle at first but you'll also build your endurance and the structure as well as the air you need to be able to cleanly play and eventually articulate it.
Are you using an alternate fingering for the final trill of III? I've been playing it as a flat trill, but it seems like you are getting around the quirks of C to D very easily
Second movement starts at 4:53
AMAZING PERFORMANCE, I LOVE IT.
kensccy823 Thank you for your kind words!

+Karsten Wimbush please! would be very appreciated to hear more! good work!
hi, can you tell me that mouthpiece used in this concerto?
Sure, Vandoren V5 (classical). Tip opening T20 with Vandoren 3.5 reeds and a Vandoren M/O lig
Karsten Wimbush thanks a lot.
For info the selmer S80 E is good for classical concerto or is best this vandoren T20 ?
A show of trully art.
Muito bom! Parabéns aos intérpretes!

Dear* ! Of course
yo does anyone have a link to the sheet music, might be a long term project of mine in the future.
Wow that was awesome! How did you get such clear articulation in the lower notes? I play tenor and I struggle so much with articulation!

I love this piece. What key is it in?
It begins largely in concert Eb major. However, the original version written by the composer was a whole step higher.
better on tenor, in my opinion
Maurício Maia you would be correct, sir
