These vids have come on massively, slick editing, drone footage and great knowledgeable content, can really see the work put in. A proper show. Msm tv is dead. Bravo 👏
@@littledogRonnie oh yeah, only little bits to make editing easier and quicker so I can get more videos made. I already have two filmed that need editing and filming another two tomorrow morning.
Interesting walk again, there is a manor house at freshwater where we stayed, lovely bay there. Had to chuckle at the webbed feet/toes and the lovely place to 'sit and read'... thank you.
Yeah cheers for the mention Gareth, caught me off guard! Yep, love a cully lol…partial to a corn mill to. Dunno if you’ve seen it, but I’ve sent you some pics on instagram for a future vid of yours.
Hayup Gareth Lovely Walk that must have been fabulous back in the day journeying so close to water! The Pill box, I use to have a wkshop near a trout farm an in the adjoining field set in to the bank an beneath trees there's was a Pill box overlooking a bend in the river, but sat fifty paces back an a couple of hundred yards downstream from an impressive railway line embankment that had a brick arches to allow the river through, so I was wondering as this was situated down south 30 miles inland from the coast, it may have been acting as war defences in case of invasion they where protecting the infrastructure, a lady involved in espionage was tasked with assisting the improvement of all new forest tracks so as to enable a secret counter force to operate off the beaten track this was planned to be enacted a month or so after invasion, they used much of the Southampton blitz bricks so anywhere you go in the forest the bricks are often very varied in quality big to fine an often as not blackened, probably not the best energy to import in to nature! but there you go. I wonder then if this pill box in your film was positioned strategically to do a similar role?! I'll watch this again great drone footage great everything! Cheers
Thankyou, it was situated on the Ringwood to Salisbury line, an now I've thought about it a bit more, there was another pill box not far from the fordingbridge station again close to the tracks, often when situated in rural locations those Pill boxes tip over or go off kilter, as I guess it's just a heaven square block, without a broader foundation an when sunken they fill up with water, there's another fortification barn come Pill box at breamore mill overlooking the river an again just a 100 yds from the station at breamore which is still there platforms an all, I honestly don't know how much of the track is walkable there's a bit either side of breamore it's in a water meadow, so there's another swamp that needs draining! I had some blue Nike air running shoes with a zip cover over the lases they where not bad in the puddles. Pill box an rivers an railways then definitely an area of further research, especially in the south! That lady did her training at Burley in some top secret stately home. in fordingbidge the coal merchant carried on utiliseing the old train coal yard hoppers an everything, well done on the map work, I imagine maps of stoney cross the American airbase will have pill box references for the Forest an maybe stretching to nearby towns an rivers? You never know all these pathways trackways may become freedom highways once again. Cheers
You're very wellcome,Gareth. just as I finished school we moved daaaaan saaaaff, local stories emerged of kids finding secret bunkers on a hillside above Ibsley with crates full of guns an ammo boxes, it didn't make to much sense as to how they got forgot. in 2016/17 I was researching an access to a property an the lady in question we'll call her miss thingy, this top secret counter invasion go to ground come out in a month after a radio signal! Story emerged an all the subsequent infrastructure to support travel on forest paths tracks byways, I've probably got the search references written down, there's pill boxes related to Stop Lines, to defend from invasion all over this area these are generally connected to fuel supply or arms equipment or ordinance, but the rather abstract river train track pill boxes I don't feel can be totally explained away as that. active defence is one thing, covert emergence after an invasion is a different entity! I feel. With your very capable research abilities it'll be interesting an of note to see what you dig up! I've mentioned it to just a few folks locally an no ones ever heard anything about it, we've been here 36 years an I accidented upon the information.yet one older lady New Miss thingy was involved in summit mercy an top secret.i guess it's ok to know after 50 years or so. Godshill to Fritham is a Stella stomp this incorporates some of the said strengthened paths an the odd brick structure that may have been a tea stop or refuelling place during exercises, there's a great pub at Fritham too! it borders on the American airbase at stoneycross which still has lights set in to banks down tracks around the perimeter. The road is the old runway I use to brumm up there on old motorcycles always felt like you where going to take off, ( I believe I can fly) etc etc. I'll check up the pill boxes an the from memory unusual embankment over a river with its impressive brick arch it's accessible via a public footpath, err the farmer beyond is pretty well known as a gun enthusiast. I'll BMX it over to Breamore an see how far you can access the run to Downton? I'll send accurate road an street names to assist your discovery. Miss thingys training was a story in itself I'll endeavour to relay that if of interest. Cheers
£190 is ridiculous my other side of the family live in Scotland and we sometimes go to Shetland and Orkney and it isn’t that much at all. In my early 20s and that would destroy me for the month £190 for an hour trip in total. Pathetic scammy false limitations like that make me lose my head haha

Yeah it's ridiculous. Couldn't afford that kind of money so fortunately a friend got me a discount code in the end. Still 80 quid mind.
And hope you didnt get to much of a bollocking from the wife for wearing those dirty boots in her car lol
Didn't tell her. It's not like I'll admit it on film and then upload to the internet...
