Matching has always been designed for "even skill between enemy teams" not "even skill between your team mates." We still be relying on 1 or 2 people to carry games because that's what they want.

The problem right now is that the upper and lower limit is so damn wide for mmr. You can be the highest mmr in your own team, meaning you have to carry. This is what they called team average MMR, which just isn't fair by default.

I absolutely hate this. Single lane ARAM baron buff. RIP any strategy. Just run around and int on repeat. I think this is a corny/goofy update. The map is already super small. The average player base is just bad macro wise and this will just encourage more 50+ death games. The only thing I somewhat like is the lane buffs if it keeps people from running into my lane and last hitting. Lane phase should be way longer imo because basing and missing a few cs after a bad trade has zero consequence because you already get passive experience. How about we fix matchmaking so I stop getting teammates in diamond/masters that still die every two minutes on repeat and just aram mid for 20 minutes and fight 2v4? Why can people with a 48% WR be anywhere but gold?

This is really fucking stupid, especially the across the map gate that can completely negate split pushing. The map is already really damn small. All these changes just encourage ARAM meta and negate a lot of macro complexity and skill. Seems overall all the changes are aimed at low skill players.
I think the best way to counter ARAM-like meta is the reintroduction of HullBreaker. By doing so, it will force the player to react to splitpushing strategy.

Dude, they say they change herald to keep people from constantly using it mid (which rarely happens low elo, but happens more high elo but then they had added t hex we know for a fact that they will be using it mid 24/7. Also personally would rather they have a hextech dragon which would cause the portals instead of always having them would be better. Wild rift went from moba to RTS quickly. And i feel sorry for all the junglers they gonna suffer more pressure from this patch which wasn't necessary. now barrier to entry to be a jungler went high since they said they try to make jungle more accessible .

This herald mean if one side gets it they could literally take three turrets at once and completely and almost permanently snowball because they get three turrets worth of gold in 10 seconds. At least currently if the other team is snowballing early you could end them if you played right before they got our of control but now It's gonna be almost impossible to stop people now if they use the herald to its full potential

So baacially they gave us our own version of the Void Grubs and and Herald is less impactful due to bot being a giant chunk of health off a turret and instead its like a huge minion I dunno about the Heral change because unless its crazy tanky or aggros champions too then you cant really push with it if agaisnt those with good wave clear

I think people are overreacting to these changes but i definitely dont agree with them. Being a jungler is going to be so frustrating now that you have to focus on more objectives which have even more importance to the flow of the game, theres far more pressure on them to perform now more then ever and these new features over complicate both laning and playing in the jungle.
I hope this is only temporary, cause this is really bad experience wise. Kind of like lethal tempo, it's fun for the one whose using it, but hell for the one who's fighting against someone with lethal tempo.

Which is riding the t-hex and using hexgates. I have done both. They didn't count for some reason. What am I doing wrong?
With the Tower Buster kind of thing, Riot will add additional turents to the base, just like in the league

So this game is becoming sh!tter day by day 🙂, it was good 2 years ago now it is so bad (I recently started to play after 2 years break, now those runes champion changes and what not are so bad, and balances....this game has become horrible)
Can everyone just relax? Every .1patch is HUGE with MASSIVE changes, can I not enjoy a game for two weeks without HUGE changes? Ah, whatevs..

Like you said, only empty promises from the devs- I don't think any long term player (s2-3) had hope this game will improve, targeted audience is just kids n casuals. (and 'casuals', 'casuals' who only want to think and feel they are playing in a competitive game without actually having to)
