@@peterjr.mcgilvery4524 From my understanding, he’s learned that he should’ve never dressed himself in the first place, but then again, he was never on the cutting edge .
I was at my friend's house today, and he was telling me how aesop rock wasn't as good as El-P, and he knows because he listens to mad aesop rock. So do I. I listen to a ton, and I like aesop rock more fo sho.
Aes is a better lyricist for sure, hands down. El-P is a great producer and RTJ is dope, but lets be honest they have two completely different styles. It's hard to compare. The thing is art is subjective, but if we are talking who is more technical it's easily Aesop. Even El-P said that Aesop was the face of one of the future directions of hip-hop. Real recognize real.
El-Ps solo albums and everything he produced during the Def Jux era is elite. Aes better lyricist but he's pretty much God-tier in that department. El-P no slouch with the pen whatsoever though. RTJ is meh to me. Hype music but not as good as his solo work by any stretch. Co Flow speaks for itself.
I love it how Ace and Block interact with one another. The bit when Blockhead laughs at 0:27 after taking the grape out of Aesop's hand, makes me piss myself every time. Plus when Ace is like "I like to make the woman pedal, similar to the relationship, I laughed like mad. "Oh my almost God." I envy their friendship and their lifestyle. Amazing talent.
Haha that shits funny wen he talks about the pedal boat and says he dsnt like to do any of the work just like in the relationship xD Aesop and blockhead are doope
ahhaha I do not know if I fully understand this interview. I do know that interviewer does not know how to use a bic. [my birthday is on the 14th] I laughed so hard. Thanks for this upload.
they cant really by mtv anymore seeing they dont play any music, but bet is still available :P it figures the end of mtvs music would come with putting some good artists on lol
The only people who say eyedea is better than Aesop say that because he died. Lyrically, structure wise, creativity, all levels beyond eyedea while he was alive. Aesop has only gotten better. Rest in peace Eyedea, but cmon.

This was amazing, I can't believe I'm just seeing this in 2021.
Aesop's sweater is on point
I wonder if he's still looking for nostalgic threads to sell?

Everything is a cryptic metaphor, just like his music.
