- Title: The Keys of Understanding
Text: Matthew 16:19, Proverbs 24:3-4
According to the scripture we read in Proverbs, nothing can be established except by understanding. Understanding is simple yet easily missed.
Daniel 10:12-14 - Why would a principality be so adamant about stopping an archangel from bringing understanding? Because, as Ecclesiastes 10:15 says, many can labour and yet not be able to breakthrough. The realm of the Spirit is not sentimental; if a door must open for us, it must open by knowledge, wisdom, and understanding.
Ecclesiastes 9:14-15, 9:18 Wisdom is better than war. Is it possible that many of the battles we've been fighting are a result of a bankruptcy of understanding?
A man with wisdom will deliver a city. Not everything must be broken; you can open them (Isaiah 45:1).
Wisdom is better than strength.
Solomon, in 1 Kings 3:9, prayed for an understanding heart to discern between good and evil. This pleased God, and Solomon was given an understanding heart. In addition, he had access to honour and riches. Beloved, with understanding and wisdom, we have access to honour and riches.
1 Chronicles 12:32 - The children of Issachar understood the times and knew what to do, even though they were a small tribe. Understanding can save a whole nation and destinies.
The Prince of Persia was contending to prevent the archangel from bringing understanding because he knows it's the key to deliverance.
Proverbs 14:12 - There's a way that seems right to our logic and carnal understanding, but the end thereof is the way of destruction. Understanding will save us from time-wasting decisions. Understanding looks simple, but it will save us from destruction and prevent us from missing out. Understanding will save you from wasting resources and, importantly, save time.
God is a backer of where He sent you; understanding will save you from wasting time.
Decisions are costly; they either make or mar you. We must cry out for understanding.
Ephesians 1:18 - Paul prayed that the Lord would open the eyes of our understanding so we may behold the riches of His glory.
With keys, we can shut seasons and open ourselves to new seasons.
Isaiah 11:2 - There is a spirit of understanding, and we can demand it.
