"Can I get a little more butter?" *slaps down half a stick* FishermansLife would be so proud
I’m so glad you’re exploring hawaii and New Zealand. So many great creators and opportunities out there. Livin the dream!
Has he been to new zealand? when abouts was that
@@PhilthyPhil19982 he’s there right now I believe. Saw it on Instagram
Taku is living the life every man dreams of! Crush from Finding Nemo is having fun as well!
Lmfao
Beautiful wife beautiful life. Mans life is goals
ngl, that night time lobster diving looks INTENSE, taku should definitely incorporate this into his next group travel his does with subscribers. love you taku!
i doubt that u should let beginners do their first lobster dive in night time :D
but if he only has experienced divers, then sure
Those lobster facehuggers freaked me out when they started making noises !!! lol Taku your the best!!!
Taku, the Lai is an excellent sashimi fish. It's called Ikekatsuo in Japanese. Hope you enjoyed it.
Ryan has such a great attitude. Love these collaborations.
Another ripper vid and cookout Taku and to share your knowledge and passion with kindred spirits is what I love the most.
Aloha Takusan! I just got my Kelp Crisps in the mail and had it with some pan-fried salmon! It's so good! Mahalo for creating such an amazing product!
Tuesday...my favorite day. More great content, Taku!
I started watching your channel recently. I love the Hawaii series. I hope you go to some of the other islands
That lobster looks Delicious!! Another great video!
Great video as always!
Never fails to make me hungry 🤤
great episodes love the whole series!!!!!
Yeo Chef Taku living the good life with Ryan and Sam and ur lady joshlyn first that beautiful Lai then night dive lobster and those herbs fresh Kona sea salt literally awesome great content guys I love it all from all ur trips catch and cook 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾💯♥️
Ryan is a vibe
Waiting for you to reach that 1 million mark! Keep it up! Much love to you guys!
OK, you got me with the sea salt thing. That's why I started following you guys. Good eats
So cool you were out here. I just moved out to Hilo almost a year ago, and been a long time fan. As well as starting my own channel here soon. You’ll definitely be a inspiration Taku. Aloha 🌺🤙🏼
Really enjoying the content, keep it up.
As always, love the content
Teamwork that’s what I’m talking about 💯
I am adding this to my bucket list!
Awesome video thank you for sharing!
Love the Hawaii series especially with Ryan and Jason! 🤙🤙
Awesome video. Thanks.
21:30 "There you go, very simple and easy". LOL
Much love, thank you!
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR COMING BACK ON SIR.
*climbs on rock* it is rly beautiful up here *SPLASH*
What a feast!
Great video Taku! Those are definitely not Atlantic Canadian lobster as the tail maintains the size of the body. And some of us eat it all, no waist. I use the bodies and to make broth to freeze for chowders and whatever, sometimes seafood risotto.
My life will be complete when I get a collab between Brody and Taku
I'm seriously waiting for those two to get together as well.
Does anyone else think that squeaking/honking noise underwater sounds like Gene's keyboard sounds from Bob's Burgers!?!???? Lmaooo I love your videos Taku!!!!!
Great video Taku and Jocelyn. Not sure if you noticed but it looked like you had a lava tube opening, to your left, when fishing. I would only dive up a tube with a certified scuba dive master who is familiar with tube diving as it's easy to get disoriented in those pitch black tubes. It's a different world in those tubes.
That lobster had to be amazing 👏
Taku, your sun glasses are dope! I like those lenses
nice, glad to see the videos rollin out so fast lol
Real out door chef life 🤙
Lai makes good sashimi and fried fish. The mackerel like taste comes out when you fry it just pull off the tough skin on both sides so you can season it before frying.
Living the dream dude! ❤
Awesome video man!
That queenfish is great for making numus (basically pickled fish). Plenty of great recipes out there eg.with chili and onions
For sure, best numus fish in Australia I have had.
Monster Lai! Super good and back in the day Hawaiians would use the skin to make lures!
Awesome video!
A very pretty Lobster 😍.
Best way to eat them ,out of the Water and onto the Beach!
JO JO IN VT 💞💨❄️☃️
Amazing looking lobster mate, but you need to get down to Cape Jaffa, South Australia. I’d be totally stoked to see you catch crays as they call em down here twice the size of those….easy! I’m from the Bay Area too, so reach out if you’re interested. My Aussie wife and I would be happy to help you guys plan something 🤙🏽🦘🦞
Epic VLOG once Again #Outdoor Chef Life
There's two things that scare the hell out of me. Extreme heights, and night diving. I've done each one a couple of times, but that was it. I don't know why, but night diving is not my jam at all. Maybe because I never did it until later in life. Or maybe because the first time I did it, I swore I saw a human hand sitting on the floor bed. 😅 Either way, I give props to people who night dive in the ocean.
Ya I night fish all the time. But as far as getting in the water and diving in it at night, NO thanks!
It must be spooky at Night
Awesome Video
Can make sashimi with that. We used to make poke with that too. Grandma taught me no matter what we try to target, the ocean will provide you what you need as long as you respect it.
I would love to try your food one of these days
I love Taku Tuesdays 🍻
Another banger
Wow. That looks delicious. Would have done the same with the lobster head.
Looks great
gotta teach your buddy the ways!
This video made me drool
YUMMMMMYYYYYYYYYYYYY Lobsters................!!!!!!!!!!!
didn't seem like there was enough food for everyone. but what was there did, looked so good.
Thanks for the awesome vid again bro, cool to see great collabs with ryan myers🤙🏾. I didnt know Hawaii banned the spearing of lobsters which imo is better is actually more challenging for us hunters which i enjoy lol. Its the same here in Guam were u cannot spear them also, with the flashlight shinning on them my old dive buddy taught me to just use the outer part of the light beam because their eyes glow when you put that little bit of light near them. Mahalo🤙🏾.
Makes sense not to spear them. If you spear it without getting a look under its' tail, you could accidentally kill a female with eggs, or a notched female. That's illegal in a lot of places.
I drink twisted tea religiously. Gotta get me some lobsters now.
Watching you on the rocks was giving me anxiety! The lobster looked so good - wish I didn't hate seafood! Excellent video, Taku and friends! Hawaii is beautiful.
In Asia we cal it queen fish, normally we eat it and make it to salted fish.
NOW THATS LIVING 💯 👌 🔥
Nice video! Looks yummy
❤ Your video channel is very good l want you to know that you are Number 1😁😁😁🦈🦈
its like a squeaky trumpet whenever a lobster gets caught lol
thumbs up!! like the video guys!!
Taku I would love to see a "Hawaii New Species Challenge"!!
Fun fact Taku, you can use the skin of the Lai to make lures for sabiki. Just dry out the skin and cut your shapes.
Dude I’m jealous 😆. My feet are jacked up and I’d die if I climbed on those rocks lol
Awesome, This is my dream
That Lai or leatherback is huge! I like to sash it
thanks
I find that a jerkbait retrieve works really well with the grubs, its more erratic. I like to change my retrieve when I'm not getting bit.
Did my guy Ryan just cop a feel on camera 😂😂 18:05
Lai is pretty good sashimi. Not much meat but great texture
18:07
Hahahahah! My misso hates when I do that.
xD
I would love a video of night dive but if you also use a UV lamp ( BLUE LIGHT) I think it will be an awesome experiment.
Taku: “very beautiful!” Me, “very dangerous!” 😳
Taku seems so assured on these rocks. Even watching him scares me.
✌️to you both
I like your content
More collabs with Ryan, please!
18:07 That chick gets scooped lolll im dying.🤣
Lmao I noticed that then scrolled through the comments to see if anyone else saw that 🤣
It's February! Not even lobster season yet!
broke out the twisted teas!
🔥
I’m a farmer here in the mid west, since I work outside a lot I always enjoy your outdoor videos, keep up the good work.
Can’t believe that’s what lobsters sound like! 9:55
killin bro no chef in the world does what u do
Exactly💯
22:38 debatable… i was wondering if it was ok incorporating some ash with the lobster after watching him put them into the pan.
yo at 18:05 lol. I see you dawg.
Love to see a seven day survival taku
Taku's giant lobster was built like a huge crawfish without the claws. They seem to have a smaller tail than a lobster.
I didnt know lobster made squeaking noises, They sure do look YUM
is it the lobster making that squeaking noise underwater? or just water camera sound effects? i never have really though about if lobsters make noises before
The first fish was prepared on Taklyn the world channel.
8lb test while Shore/Rock Fishin 😅, Should get some heavier tackle for saltwater fishing. Love the Video cookin looks amazing always makes me jealous!
Nice Video Taku.....You cut away from the beer chug shot so I have to give you a 2 on the Taku Beer Chug Meter
